Contentment...satisfaction...they are the morning's vital emotions. The enticing scent of fresh brewed coffee catching the senses before billowing away on the breeze, the warmth and reapport of friendship encompassing us all as we huddle, yawning, on the deck staring at the shimmer of Cancun's lights in the distance. Even the dogs, lying at our feet, dispaly lazy grins of pleasure, their tails thumping occasionally against the deck in response to the anticipation the evelopes us all. 79 degrees, winds steady at 7 knots with gusts to 12.5 knots, seas at a peaceful 2 feet. There is a lightning storm far in the southern distance, the clarity of the sea air making it even more spectacular, emphasizing Mother Natures feats.

Villas Tacul...an exemplary harbor/abode by American standards, exceptional by Mexican. The harbor waters are as clear and brilliant as any harbor I've ever seen, amazing really, as it's just mintues from downtown. The villa itself is incredible...four bedrooms, five baths and three of the hugest common rooms I've ever seen. There is a stunning little courtyard, 40x40 with a beautiful little fountain and wonderful flora. The oat slip itself is a welcome surprise, with cable and internet hookup, along with all the other necessities. All in all, a wonderful, if early, harbor *soft smile*.

Alright! So...Elliott fell in the harbor with Oscars help (bad dog!). While we were all very busy laughing at him (I tried, really tried, to write "with" but *shrug*), he did, in the end, get the last laugh with a bevy of swimming beauties to rescue him. Jamie and I wandered into town early this morning for supplies. The fresh fruit we found in the market is sublime...mangoes, pineapple, and of all things, fresh strawberries and raspberries. The bikini's she found are, I'm quite sure, illegal in most countries and wish to announce that my mind was on a whole different subject when she talked me into the black one. She has come back with a digital camera to replace the one the bird broke *tongue in cheek* and hopefully we will have pics to capture the essence of next couple of days.
