| Independent music has to be one of my favorite things in the world. A few years ago, I would have had no idea what indie music was. All I knew then was the same 5 songs played over and over on mainstream radio. THANK GOD that I'm over that! :) A while back, I was introduced to Bumpskey.com. This is the place to find AWESOME indie artists and HEAR them live over the internet radio station that WebJay Jerry has going on! 24/7, indie music is broadcasted. Jerry gives artists all over the world a chance to be heard by his listeners. It's such a great opportunity, for both listeners, and artists! Through this, I have met many talented people. Dave Haywood and John Taglieri are just two. I knew my good friend Kirk McFee before I began listening to Bumpskey and actually, he's the one who got me started! I think the real talent is found in these hard-working individuals who put all they have into making their music to share with us. It makes me so happy to see someone with a guitar in their hands, belting out a tune they wrote on their own, just for other people to hear! That's what music is all about!
