Who I am
It seems to make sense to have a bit of band info around about here, so

The Band;
They are: James Dean Bradfield (vocals and guitar), Nicky Wire (real name Jones, Bass and lyrics), Sean Moore (drums) and Richey James Edwards (rhythm guitar, lyrics) were all born in Blackwood, Gwent, a welsh mining community.  The band formed in 1989.  They took their name from James hobby of busking and chasing after anyone who looked like they had money, singing, a manic street singer if you will.

Richey;
Born on 22nd December 1968 and missing since 1st February 1995. After leaving sixth form with three As at A level he attended the same university as Nicky and did the same course (history degree at Swansea University, 1986) and achieved a 2:1.  It was during university that Richeys well publicised self harm began; When I cut myself I feel so much better. All the little things that might have been annoying me suddenly seem so trivial because I'm concentrating on the pain... I'm not a person who can scream and shout so this is my only outlet. It's all done very logically.  Eventually Richey came to be hailed as one of the greatest and most honest lyricists of our time (mostly by Manics fans, but it still stands!). Richey was an integral part of the Manic Street Preachers up until his disappearance 8 years ago.

Nicky;
Born on the 20th January 1969 Nicky is the most attractive member of the band (after Richey of course), oh sorry thats not really relevant is it?!!  Fascinating yet pointless pieces of information about Mr. Wire that you may not be aware of include the fact he enjoys hovering, his first celebrity crush on Debbie Harry and was a generally fantastic pupil at Oakdale Comprehensive school in Blackwood.  Nicky initially played guitar for the band before the original bassist left and Richey joined playing rhythm guitar at which point Nicky swapped to bass.

Nicky on Richey;
Personally, I still think hes alive, although Ive got no physical evidence or reason to think that he is.  But I do.  Ive spoken to people about this who say youre just trying to block it out, that Ive just got to accept that hes dead but how can you accept that hes dead, when theres no evidence whatsoever?  Its irrational.  We slept in the same bed together for about six months.  We shared a room in every hotel.  Ive known him since I was six but if someone wants to disappear, they can.  Its not very hard at all.  It really isnt.

James;
Born an only child on the 21st of January 1969 James grew up to be an unmotivated pupil at Oakdale comp and later cultivated betrayal as his most hated thing in the worldwow.  James favourite Manics single is, like many people, A Design for Life. Even more interestingly, James first celebrity crush was Janice Long, amazingHe also insulted my friend's Fender guitar when he took it to get it signed, which gives us a...err...
massive insight into his personality....

Sean;
Another only child, eldest of the band though, born in 1968 on the 30th of August. He shares a sense of pride and love for A design for Life with James and spends his time away from the band watching videos, cycling and with his dogs.  He does also quite obsessively collect the latest electronic equipment.  Alledgedly he is soley responsible for Curry's and Dixon's continuing to exist, alledgedly....
