Tulane University: The Experience
My four years at Tulane University were about as distinct as China has dialects.  Here's a rundown of the roller coaster ride I call college and some of the forces behind it:
Freshman Year:  This year was my second best to date.  It was my first away from home, but due to the nature of Ghetto Dorm, Monroe Hall, it was relatively easy to make many new friends.  The riverboat ride was a lot of fun, I met plenty of hot girls who have stayed friends with me to this date that year, and I enjoyed New Orleans culture and began my foray into the world of the sciences with the yearlong Physics course I participated in. My roommate was tollerable, albiet annoying at times and not really much of a friend, but what can you do?  Its Freshman year!  No one can have it perfect.  My grades were overall excellent this year, probably around a 3.33 GPA

Vacations: None, and none really needed, New Orleans was a vacation of sorts

Overall Grade: B/B+
Sophomore Year:  This year was in fact, and unfortunately, the absolute worst year of my life.  Many things contributed to my sophmore jinx, not least of which were my roommates.  Granted, my first one was fine, but he unintentionally made my room look like a nuclear war zone after I got back from Winter Break.  Second roommate was a catastrophe.  He was so terrible, in fact, that HRL forcably removed him from my room for the duration of the year after only two and a half weeks.  Most of my friends that I had met in Ghetto Dorm had scattered into the wind after only one semester and I really missed them.  Classes were really tough this semester, I was crazy enough to take the full years of Chemistry and Biology at the same time.  I did happen to pick up a girlfriend along the way, but she turned out to be a disaster in the long run as she never found time for me toward the end of the year.  My grandfather also died this year.  My fitness and health continued to stink as I never exercised and ate improperly.  My grades suffered a bit with me, too, as I was barely around a 3.0 this year.

Vacations: San Jose, Disney over the summer, and that would be one of the inspirations to help me get off of "ground zero"

Overall Grade: D-   Why not an "F?" because I lived through it to tell the tale
Junior Year: This year was without a doubt my most successful and enjoyable year to date, possibly in my whole life as well.  One of the prime forces of its success used to be one of the prime reasons for its destruction: the dreaded roommate scenario.  For whatever reason I took the roommate gamble this year again.  This time it was a winner.. At a time in my life where I had reached rock bottom just coming back from a miserable Sophomore year, this friend provided me the inspiration I needed to pick myself up again.  We shared many interests, including sports, movies, music (yeah I even learned how to like hip-hop), and stories of the world around us.  In fact, he was an excellent role model for me  to get fit for the first time since I have been like ten years old, and I have not gone back since.  In fact, midway through the year, he took a gamble by teaching me how to be a less arrogant and self-centered and It was quite possibly one of the most important lessons I have ever learned.  Good people seem to breed more good people, as other friends began dropping into place, most notably our suite neighbor and a few more people on the same floor.  I began feeling more confident around the girls I met Freshman year and even planted seeds with a few new ones that I hope will develop into something more.  This was the first year I decided to just "let go" [Fight Club] and relinquished my absolute fear of anything to do with alcohol or party (not that I do this often but I had to "loosen up.").  Grades were also excellent this year, Aprroximately a 3.4 overall GPA within my majors was accomplished.  Although Im going solo in the rooming thing next year, I am still confident that I have made some real life-long friends this year and my experience would have been much more miserable without them.

Vacations:  LA Cali (visited Jay Leno Show, Dennis Miller Live, Universal, and more),  Las Vegas

Overall Grade: A-
Senior Year:  My final year at Tulane University was an excellent one, with an unexpected twist.  My best friend from my Junior year moved off campus while I remained in the dorms.  In any case, we remained very close friends and Im certain we will remain so for the rest of our lives.  In any case, going into this year, my full expectation was that I would be heading to Dental School at the end of the year, either UNLV or Ohio State.  As the year came closer to a close, however, I decided that it may have been a better idea to follow a different dream before comitting to such a future.  I, therefore, applied to the Walt Disney World College program while finishing my Communications and History majors at school.  I was accepted shortly thereafter and began what I hope to be a long and successful future with the company I have loved since I was a young child.  I had visited Disney World with my family almost every year since I had been born and had always had a dream to not only be a part of a magic, but also to craft it as well.  Here's to the future; I'm going to Walt Disney World!

Vacations: Las Vegas, Orlando
