I do all sorts of crafts, my favorites are crochet and cross stitch. And now, with the help of a cyber pal, I also enjoy my new talent, knitting. I do most of my crafts for shows, to make a little money to suppliment John's income, so I can stay home and be with our babies. If you are interested, I also do some orders. I do christening sets in knit and crochet, along with other baby items. And I also make Preemie items. I believe my prices are resonable, e-mail me for more info.

I believe in miracles. I think that they are a big part of anything good that happens. My kids are both miracles, as are all children, but they were given to me as gifts, and after battling with RSV to keep Cheyenne, and battling with preterm labor to keep AJ, they are the most precious things in my world. No matter how bad a day I'm having, a smile from one of them can change it all. And nothing makes me feel as wonderful as cuddling up with AJ to nurse. I won't go into breastfeeding here, if you want my views on that subject then you may visit my Breastfeeding Page. All I will say here is that breastfeeding is something I believe in very much, and I wish to see happen more.

I have a favorite sentence, it is my motto, Everything happens for a reason. I believe very much in these words, I know that it is hard to accept at times, but everything that happens does have a reason, just because we may not see it, does not mean it is not there.

I also saw a message on a church sign once, Commit a random act of kindness today. I think this is a wonderful idea. If we all "commit a random act of kindness" won't the world be better to be in? So as a personal favor to me, go "commit" kindness. I want to start a page of stories, so if you have a story about something kind that someone has done for you, that you would like to share with the internet comunity, in hopes of brightening someones day, please email it to me, there is an email link at the bottom of this page.

I am also, like the rest of my family, a big Star Wars fan. I am on the Rebel side, not the Imperial, like the rest though. My personal favorite is Han Solo. But that could be because I'm a BIG Harrison Ford fan. ;o)

My idea of the PERFECT movie would be: Harrison Ford, Richard Geer, Val Kilmer, and Sean Connery. With music by Garth Brooks, Reba, Chris LeDoux,Alabama, and George Strait.

As you probably guessed, I'm also a country music fan, Garth is my favorite, but I'm also VERY fond of the others I've mentioned. I saw Reba in concert, she does a GREAT show. Aside from country, I also enjoy classical music. Beethoven is one of my favorites there (as you can tell if you recognise the music-it's his Fur Elise).

This is a gift from one of the Ladies in Ladies of the Heart (LOTH). It is special to me, as all of the ladies are. I like to belong to such a wonderful group, it's like having family all over the world.
