JUNE NEWSLETTER
Well, it certainly did rain way too much for us at the beginning of the month.  The Mayor's Cup had to be rescheduled a couple of time due to all the water standing at the bottom of the track  We were a little nervous whether
we were going to be able to hold the Local Race on it's originally schedule date of June 21st, but with the outstanding efforts of the parks department and race committee, the race was held as scheduled.

We had 52 drivers participate in our "Local Race" and by the end of the day we had a champion in each division.  All drivers did an terrific job and it was a fun day for everyone.  We ended up with a tie for "Rookie of the year" because two of our winners had never raced in the division that they won in.  Way to go Kevin Riley & Kat Cole!   Steak-n-Shake generously provided lunch for all the drivers and volunteers.  Our sincere "Thank You" goes out to them! The Zimmerman's and their extended family members were awarded the
"Best Fan Club" award - CONGRATULATIONS!
