An all original 4200 mile 70 Honda CB750. I just found this bike 4 miles from my house . Has all the original parts except the original owner took padding out of the front of the seat to lower it for his daughter to ride. The rest of the paint is the nicest original I've ever seen, besides NOS pieces, for a 70.. It could use new tank badges as the black is totally off. The unmarked HM300 pipes are also some of the nicest I've seen. It has the rear slash cut front fender ,the original Bridgestone tires and still has the dealer stickers. Since it hasn't been started since 78 I'm rebuilding the carbs etc. before I try to start it up. It was running fine in 78 when the owner put it away,he waxed it up every year or so and the quality of the chrome shows it. I've known the owner casually for 15 years. He is a Harley guy and I never knew he had this bike. While meeting by chance a few weeks back we got on the subject of Honda 750s and he told me he had one he bought new in 70. As he is now in his 70s he was going to sell it. These pictures are before I've even cleaned the bike up. The engine is #10030136 the frame is 30070 |
