Technology
Unique horizontal squeeze casting technology
has been developed in India to manufacture automotive components
in aluminum alloys. Special features include high mechanical
properties (UTS= 400 mPa, YS= 300 mPa, Elongation=
10%), x-ray quality, free
of micro-defects, nearly 100% yield, minimal fettling, energy
savings, high productivity, low labour content, and simple
foundry layout. . Innovations include utilization of low capacity
press to manufacture large size castings, low-cost die
design.

of wax injection presses & high-yield assembly techniques,
design of shell room and shell system, melting and processing,
penetrant & radiography inspections, process control.
Documentation related to specification, standard operating
procedures, incoming and in-process inspections. Technology to

17-4 PH, vacuum casting alloys such as inconel, Mar-M200 etc.

casting has been produced with directional cooling so that heavy hub section
and thin vanes have been successfully cast with excellent

prototyping technology in the late 80s and developed a methodology
to manufacture limited quantities of castings using
stererolithography (SLA) plastic pattern by investment

Riser design service is offered using computer simulation for investment,
sand, low-pressure and gravity die, permanent mould castings. Evaluation of die cooling,
chilling effects and riser sleeves is performed. Prediction
