He's just been very unlucky.
In the season of 2001 Gibby was run down by a massive black monster, known only as Fiji (he was the size of Fiji). It seemed there was no stopping the man, but Gibby did a wonderful job of bringing him down. Unfortunately Gibby's patented head tackle to the knee left him a little worse for wear. Infact Gibby's tackle left him out for the rest of the season.
Some say the knock to the head gave Gibby psychic abilities, frankly I believe it.
Gibby's courageous return to the squad in the 2002 season brought tears to the eyes of the wussier players, such as Chad, Julian, and the Bald Eagle. |
