Saturday, December 28, 2008 4:30pm Castleton- The Strange Bed and Breakfast Galyda drags the body of the man into a closet. Galyda: I’ll deal with him later. But now, I’ve got to find the source! |She heads up stairs and stops halfway| … But wait! I can’t work alone. I’m going to need some sort of assistant, a sidekick if you will. But whom? And where will I find him or her. Tabitha Lenox! She will help me. |Galyda goes into the basement of the bed and breakfast and stares at a brick wall| … This will do. |She pricks her finger with a needle and drips the blood on the wall.| … Forces of Darkness, here my call. Let there be a portal and open this wall. Bring me the spirit of Tabitha Lenox who dwells beneath. And tell her to hurry so I can spread grief! |The earth shakes and the wall opens with a red light and fog seeping out| … HAHAHA!!! HURRY! HURRY!!!! |Tabitha’s wicked spirit arises through the portal and she appears before Galyda Tabitha: Galyda Bancroft! Galyda: Hello aunty Tabitha. Tabitha: What do you come to me for? Galyda: I need an assistant to help me. Tabitha: Oh. I’m so honored Galyda that you’d want to work with… Galyda: Save your breathe aunty Tabitha. It’s not you that I want. Tabitha: Oh, then who will it be? Galyda: That’s what I need your help with Tabitha. Can you help me find a sidekick? Tabitha: Well sure. But first, tell me how you are on earth once again. Were you not sealed in a capsule right after all evil was banished from Harmony? Galyda: Uh, yes. But some silly mortals released me by accident. Tabitha: And what is your mission? Galyda: To find The Bottle of Alexis. Tabitha: But that bottle has been missing for more than 300 years, every witch and warlock has been looking for it ever since, what makes you think that you are going to find it? Galyda: Because I know for a fact that that bottle lies somewhere in this bed and breakfast. And I am the only witch who has the power to find things and track them down. And that’s exactly what I did. But back to the subject of a sidekick. I’ve heard things about you and a doll you created years ago, what was its name? Uh… Tommy. Tabitha: Uh, it’s Timmy. Galyda: Yeah, alright. Well, do you think you can bring him back to life and have him be my sidekick? Tabitha: NO!!! I will not. Galyda: Why not? Tabitha: Because he is my sidekick not yours. Galyda: Oh please Tabitha. Tabitha: And besides, Timmy doesn’t work for the dark side. Galyda: HA! You mean to tell me that all those years you’ve been working for evil with a sidekick who works for good? Tabitha: Yes, now I know it’s hard to believe but… Galyda: Alright Tabitha. If you can’t bring me Timmy. How about someone new… someone different than your usually sidekick. Nobody too Batman and Robin-y. Tabitha: Uh, Galyda. If you are the only witch with the power of locality than don’t you think you can locate your own sidekick. Galyda: Don’t get verbal with me Tabitha. Just help me create a doll and turn it into a living human. Tabitha: Uh-uh. I can’t. It’s against the Witches Council’s rules. After that Crack Connie incident, they mad it a law. Galyda: Oh!!! Well how else can I find a sidekick? Tabitha: You have the power Galyda. Use it! Search for a human who is in deep need of something and sweep them into the path of evil. Galyda: Hmm, alright then. Thanks Tabitha. Well, you’re welcomed to stick around for a bit if you’d like. Tabitha: Well, I’ll pop in and out every once and a while to check in and see how things are going. But I’ve got to get back to hell and give Mrs. Hades her pedicure. She’s really feisty when it comes to her nails. Galyda: Bye aunty Tabitha. An hour later, Galyda is upstairs in the main room at the front desk. Galyda: Now, I must do as Tabitha said and use my power of locality to figure out where my new sidekick is. But I’ve never used it to find a person. Oh well, there is always a first for everything. |The lights go out when she claps her hands; she closes her eyes and concentrates on her purple pendant on her neck| Galyda: Oh powerful pendant. Lead me to my assistant. Show me where he is! |The pendant lifts up and slowly drags Galyda to the front door| Galyda: He’s beyond this door. |She looks through the window where a man is at the curb with suitcases| Galyda: Ew. What a viciously hideous man. Mmm, maybe he isn’t what the pendant was pointing to. |The man gets closer and the pendant goes crazy| Galyda: Or maybe it is. Oh well, this isn’t about looks. It’s about having him do exactly what I say and when I say it. Hmm, but what sight he is. |The man opens the doors and Galyda is standing at the desk| Galyda: May I help you? Flinch: My name is Flinch. Galyda: Flinch? Flinch: Yeah. Can I have a room please? Galyda: Yes. But first. I must sweep you into the path of evil. Flinch: Excuse me? Galyda: You have a wish, do you not? Flinch: I don’t know what the heck you’re talking about lady. Galyda: Of course you do. You have one wish and one wish only. Flinch: Maybe I should go elsewhere. Galyda: You are concerned about your looks, haven’t you? Flinch: You have no right… Galyda: Listen to me Flinch. You’re one desire is to be handsome… hott if you will. Flinch: I’m leaving. |Flinch begins to leave and Galyda closes the doors with her powers| Flinch: How did… Galyda: I’m a witch Flinch. I can grant you that wish. Flinch: You are? Galyda: Yes. And since you don’t believe me I’m… Flinch: Oh, I believe you. Galyda: You do? Flinch: Yes, I know a lot about witches. Galyda: Hah. This is my lucky day. Thankyou for making this easy for me. Flinch: So you will grant me my wish? Galyda: Yes, if you agree to help me open the bottle of Alexis. Now let me explain what the bottle is about. You see… Flinch: Oh I already know about the bottle of Alexis. Galyda: You do? Flinch: Mhmm. About 300 years ago. There where 2 rival enemies. A family of women by the name of Standish and a family of very powerful witches by the name of Bancroft. I’m betting you are a Bancroft. Galyda: You’re amazing me already. Flinch: But 300 years ago, the Standish women fought and destroyed the Bancroft family power, but only half of it, the most evilest and destructive of their power. They concealed it into a bottle now know as the bottle of Alexis. Galyda: But why is it called the bottle of Alexis? |Challenging him| Flinch: Easy. At an attempt from keeping evil from opening the bottle an angel by the name of Alexis put a spell on the bottle so that no one under evil influences can open it. Only a mortal can open it. Galyda: Such as yourself. And that’s what is going to make it so easy for me. You see, the bottle is somewhere in this bed and breakfast and I intend on finding it. With you’re help of course. And as a reward to your helpfulness, I will grant you the wish you’ve always wanted since you were in grade school. And since you know all about this. It should be easy for you, is it not? Flinch: I want so bad to be handsome. Someone who won’t get nasty looks from people you don’t even know. And I’d love to have a girlfriend. And… Galyda: To have sex? Flinch: Galyda, I accept! Galyda: Good! Good! Now, I’ve got to find out exactly where the bottle is in this place.
