Saturday, December 27, 2008 � A NEW DAY 8:01 am Hamilton, Bermuda Hamilton Hospital Luis and Hank are beside Sheridan�s hospital bed Luis: I can�t believe it. I can�t believe this happened? Doctor: We are not sure why Sheridan had a very very extremely and unusually high blood sugar. But what ever reason, it caused her death. Luis: |Crying| She can�t be dead. Isn�t there something you can do? Doctor: No. I�m afraid not. Luis: |Smiling| She�s not dead. Hah. The last 2 times we thought she was dead she wasn�t. This is just another scare to threaten our relationship. Hank: Luis. She�s really dead this time. You have to accept it. Luis: |Crying| I can�t Hank. I just can�t. Sheridan�s ghost brings Charity into the hospital Sheridan: You have to help me get Luis to know that I�m still here on earth. Charity: Sheridan. You should have gone with your mother. You�re not going to get another chance to get into heaven. Sheridan: I didn�t want to leave Luis. I couldn�t have done that to him. Charity: Sheridan, I can�t say whether or not he will see you. Or if he�ll even believe me. I don�t even know why I came here. I should go. Sheridan: No, please. You�re my only hope. You�re the only one who can see me. Charity: Alright. I�ll stay here and help you. //Beach House// Jeff and Todd are eating breakfast Todd: Where is Hank this morning? I don�t even think he came home. Jeff: He didn�t. And who cares where that queer is. Todd: Uh. Excuse me? Jeff: He�s gay Todd. Todd: No he�s not. Jeff: Do you want to see proof of it? Todd: What proof? What are you talking about? Jeff: You�ll see. Follow me. |They go upstairs and into Hank�s room| Todd: Why are we in Hank�s room? Jeff: I wanna show you something. Todd: Because this is where the proof is. |Jeff opens the closet door and pulls out the brown box and takes out the scrapbook. He hands it to Todd| Jeff: Here. Todd: What is this? Jeff: Open it. But be prepared. |Todd stares at the scrapbook| Todd: What is this going to prove? Jeff: Open it!!! |Todd slowly opens the scrapbook| Jeff: Turn the page�. Keep turning em. Todd: Oh. Wow. Jeff: I know. It�s shocking isn�t it? |The phone rings and Todd answers it| Todd: Hello? Yeah, he�s here. Jeff: |Taking the phone| Hello? Officer: Is this Jeffrey Abraham Collins? Jeff: Yeah, what�s it to you? Officer: This is Detective George Hymen. Jeff: What do you want? Officer: Are you familiar with Joshua Donner? Jeff: Yes. He raped a girl in my house the other night. Officer: I�m afraid that that accusation has been rejected. Jeff: What does that mean? Officer: It means that Joshua has been let out of Jail temporarily. He�s saying that you raped Charity that night and not him. Jeff: What? You�re making a big mistake! Officer: And since we cannot prove neither yours or Joshua�s accusation we�ll be keeping a close eye on the both of you. Have a good evening Mr. Collins. |He hangs up| Jeff: Oh that�s just freaking great! |Angry| Todd: What? Jeff: They released Joshua. They�re saying I�m a prime suspect. They�re going to find out that I raped her. Todd: Oh. So you did rape her? Jeff: Shut up. I have enough on my plate right now. And don�t forget that you were going to rape her too. Todd: But I didn�t. Jeff: I have to think of a plan. I can�t be arrested again for the same reason. //Hospital// Charity and Sheridan�s ghost stand in front of the room Sheridan�s body is in Sheridan: Luis is inside. Go to him and tell him! Charity: Alright. Give me a minute. |They both listen when they hear Luis shout a cry| Sheridan: That was Luis! Luis: Don�t take her away! Please don�t take her away! |Charity and Sheridan watch the doctors roll Sheridan�s body, covered with a white sheet out into the hall| Sheridan: That�s me, isn�t it. Charity: Yes. It is. Sheridan: I have to look. Charity: No. Sheridan: Lift the sheet Charity. |Charity lifts the sheet and they look| Sheridan: How did I die? I don�t understand. |Charity gets uncomfortable| Sheridan: Oh my goodness. You know! You know how I died! Charity, you have to tell me. Charity: It�s not my place. Sheridan: That�s what my mother said. |Luis runs out into the hall where Sheridan�s body is and cries over her, Luis follows him| Hank: Luis, it�s going to be alright. Sheridan is in a better place now. Heaven! Sheridan: |Sad| You don�t know how wrong you are Hank. Luis: I feel like she is still alive. Like she is still here. Hank: Charity. What are you doing here? Charity: I saw the ambulance last night. I was worried. I didn�t tell Miguel. I thought that you would want to. Luis: Yeah. Of course. I understand. Sheridan: Charity! Tell him! |Charity ignores| Charity: Is she� dead? |Luis bursts into tears| Charity: I�m sorry Luis. I didn�t mean to� Luis: No, it�s okay. Charity: I have to go now. |Charity walks away| Sheridan: What are you doing? Why didn�t you tell him? Charity: I can�t tell him now. He�s too upset. We�ll have to wait a while. Sheridan: How long? Charity: A couple of day�s maybe� Sheridan: I can�t wait that long. Charity: I know. I�m sorry. I have to go. //Beach House// Jeff: That�s it! I know exactly what I�ll do to keep the police off of my tail. Todd: What? Jeff: They said that they were going to keep a close eye on both of us. So the must still think that he could be a suspect too. Todd: What�s your point? Jeff: If Joshua murders Charity. Then the police will arrest him and would know that Joshua really is the rapist. Thus, they will owe me big for letting him out of jail. Todd: Yeah. But there is one big problem. How are you going to get Josh to kill Charity? Hypnotize him? Jeff: Good idea Todd. But that won�t work. No. I have a better plan. Our friend Joshua will kill Charity and won�t even have to lift a finger to do it. Todd: What? I don�t understand. Jeff: It�s all in good time buddy. It�s all in good time.
