I walked a bit, amidst the rain,
With tears upon my cheek,
My breath is short, and gate unsteady,
My knees feel oh so weak.
For once again, with words so sweet,
My lady spoke of love,
And woke my heart, and touched my soul,
Like an angel from above.
A torrent raged, and floods swept high,
My heart cried out aloud,
As pain unleashed, and contentment sighed,
And removed this cursed shroud.
I opened up, you filled me up,
I found my other half
You melted me, and drank me up,
And taught me how to laugh.
