Directed and edited a 6.5 minute digital video, “¿Tienes Hambre?” a butch/fem romance taking place at taco trucks in the Fruitvale neighborhood of East Oakland. The film showed at the first annual Queer Women of Color Film Festival at the S.F. LGBT Center in June 2005. Three stills from the film were part of artwork that projected during the LGBT Pride Celebration in Dublin, Ireland in June of 2005. June 2006 screenings at Cuerpo y Revolucion at the Women’s Building in S.F. and at Joteria at the LGBT Center. Additional screenings: August 2006 at the Femme Conference in S.F., February 2007 at Cal State East Bay, and April 2007 at Mills College, 2008 at SF LGBT Center. Berkeley Film Festival September, 2008 – Won Best Ethnographic Film Award. 2007 Participant in QWOCMAP Intermediate video making class. My 16 minute film, “Mashed, Boiled & Fried” was shown in the QWOC film festival and SF’s Frameline LGBT film festival, June 2008.
