6-1:

6-2:

Don't touch the gate until you're ready. upon hitting it 3 detector type mobs spawn. Think 3 baby mother globes. They're soloable for some certain jobs. I recommend at least duo them if not bring a full party to make it easy. Thunder based, and all three have a knockback AOE which literally knocks you back a -far- distance. (like 500 ft if there was such thing in game).

  • After killing them check the gate again for a cutscene.
  • Go back to rulude and check the Armory again for... another cutscene.
  • Finally head to the Audience Throne in the palace (the thing where the leady dude is on the second floor of the palace). This is a lengthy cutscene. was pretty good.

  • 6-3:

    6-4:

Your Mission should you choose to accept it: you have 45 minutes to defeat 5x Mammet-22 Zetas, Omega, and finally Ultima. After cutscene it will put you on your own "ship". From there you have an option to proceed or to go back to sealion's den. From the initial cutscene, i advise everyone in your party to exit out of the BC but stay within sealion's den. This will allow you to bypass the initial cutscene for the BC thus saving you about 3 minutes. When you are finally ready and everyone has already viewed the cutscene, it is time for the show. enter the BC and buff/put reraise up on your ship. when ready, proceed. make sure you have the appropriate supplies being MP and HP items if needed. this is no joke and you will be booted from the BC if you go over 45 minutes. Yellow Liquids again do work on the Mammets and CCB polymers stop Omega and Ultima from spamming their specials for a good thirty seconds. if you happen to wipe during a battle and you are back far enough you are able to reraise. Ultima and Omega do not regen after you die.

    Boss 1st set: 5x Mammet-22 Zeta.

These are relatively easy however if you go in thinking they are a joke without a strategy, you will die. They have all regular attacks from the mammets you faced during your 2-5 fight, however, these ones can actually turn into monks from something else. They can also ALL do transmography, so have your tanks turn their backs just like 2-5. It doesn't switch to warrior much, mostly dragoon and blackmage. blackmages -ONLY- cast -ga spells, so make sure they are silenced. They die relatively easy.
Works: Silence, Paralyze, Bind, Slow, Blind, Bio, Dia, Poison.
Might work once, otherwise immune: Gravity.

Defeat them all and you will be transported back to your ship with full MP and HP.

    Boss 2nd Set: Omega.

This tends to be the hardest boss of the three because of his hate reset move.
Works: Bind, Paralyze, Bio, Dia, Poison, Blind, Slow, Gravity. Blms tend to use Ice and Thunder.

    Omega Attacks:
    -Guided Middle: Frontal AOE, damage.
-Hyper Pulse: AOE medium radius, Damage + bind.
-Pile Pitch: Single Target, Damage; Takes you to 10% HP (like tonberry throat stab almost), resets hate and stuns the one target it uses it on. This move is the one most spammed at the end.
-Eon Efflux: AOE medium radius, No Damage + paralyze.
-Discharger: It's own buff, No Damage + Shockspikes and magic barrier? Dispellable.
-Target Analysis: AOE small radius, No damage + 2-4 status drains per person in range.
-Rear Lazer: Rear AOE medium radius. No damage + petrify and stun. If your tank is about 35 degrees to side of it, but Omega is still the opposite direction, it will hit him/her with this move.

Before I add anymore let me post our setup: Nin War Rng Whm Blm Rdm. Good info about WSs but I would also add to start using Polymers after 20%. Once he hit 20% his attacks became uber fast and I couldn't cast :Ni between his hits without a Polymer. He also spams WSs. Our first dry run we went in and got him to 20% but wiped shortly after. We were exhausted at that point because he had been spamming AoE. On our actual run he hardly used AoE at all. -Waef

Defeat them all and you will be transported back to your ship with full MP and HP.

    Boss 3rd Set: Ultima

This boss is more about status effects than high damage like omega (unless you count equalizer).
Works: Bind, Paralyze, Bio, Dia, Poison, Blind, Slow, Gravity. Blms tend to use Ice and Thunder.

    Ultima Attacks:
-Cryojet: Frontal AOE, Damage + paralyze
-Smoke Discharger: Frontal AOE, Damage + petrify
-Turbo Fan: Frontal AOE, Damage + silence
-Hydro Cannon: Frontal AOE, Damage + poison
-Flame Thrower: Frontal AOE, Damage + virus
-Nuclear Waste: AOE medium-large Radius, No Damage + random status
-Wire Cutter: Single Target, Damage + paralyze (goes through shadows?)
-Antimatter: Single Target, Heavy Damage (goes through shadows?) this is the one it spams at very low health.
-Equalizer: AOE small-medium radius, Damage + paralyze (blinkable)
-Target Analysis: AOE small-medius radius, No Damage + status drain of 2-4 from everyone in range.
-Chemical Bomb: Single Target, No Damage + slow and carnage elegy (1.5 minute ichi)
-Particle Shield: It's own buff, No damage + ultima defense up. Dispellable.

This BC tends to be easier with a ninja tank than a paladin. It can be done with a paladin but be ready with major MP and HP items. This is single most the most important BC to have a whm on. please equip yourselves well. Most parties tend to have more damage than mine, but my party of: Rdm, Rdm, Whm, Blm, War, Nin was able to defeat it with a good strategy. If it helps any, here is the basic strategy we went with when doining the BC (but be ready for hate reset and weird things to happen and the mob to wander about).

Went with rng, war, nin, rdm, blm, whm. Mammets:
RNG shadowbinds #1, WAR vokes #2 and kills with the RNG and BLM. RDM (me) binds #3 and runs back and forth across the ship. The mammet was in "phaser Gun" mode and I was too far away for him to reach me. I helped heal the WAR and RNG. NIN vokes #4 and melee's #5. WHM's main concern is the NIN. #1 dies fast and the WAR, RNG, and BLM pull #4 off the NIN. Everyone uses yellow liquid at the start to lock in gun mode. Also, make distribution quartermaster, passing out liquids is easier than waiting for them to drop. Everyone always knew what job their mammet was, if we saw a Fire Staff we immedietly silenced it and killed it next. Memmets aren't the hard part, but getting through them without deaths and under 10 minutes is very important.

Omega was the only pain in the ass. We used 2 CCB's, one at 35% and another at 10%. Don't go by #'s, use it when he starts wigging out and uses pile pitch. We setup a Fragmentation SC with the WAR and RNG and the BLM and I MB'd Thunder II. That helped alot.

Ultima we used a CCB at 40, 30, 20, and 10% and we all 2 hour'd at 25%. He dropped in about 90 seconds.

a little trick we used was everyone put their CCB's in bazaar for 1g and sine I was doing the least amount of stuff during the NM fights whenever I used one I would immedietly buy another one and have it ready to use. Since you can't holdmore than one this saved us alot of time and left the melee to worry about shadows and the mages to worry about health.

oh yeah, we were 1/17 on this fight, and we went 1/4 when actually trying and using CCBs.
1- Omega at 25% (time ran out, 2 wipes)
2- Ultima at 20% (time ran out, 2 wipes)
3- Ultima at 17% (time ran out, 1 wipe)
4- Win, record, no wipes, dumb luck...

btw, I used BRD about 8x and lost a shitload of xp on it. We never had Mammet trouble when I went rdm, when I went brd we got past the mammets only 2-3 times. BRD is nice for your tank but afterwards you don't do much during the NMs... -Gorokai (some guy from KI)

I did all CoP, Zilart, Rank Missions as Thf.

I did CoP 6-4 as Thf/Sam. I used a Spartan Hoplon for shield. Pawned with attack food. Our setup was Mnk (Chi Blast 100% of the time. Did as much dmg or more than AM), Thf/Sam (I ran in and SAWS whenever I could, ranged attack the rest of the time, status bolts did stick, blind, bloody, acid, poison, *sleep did not stick*), Pld/war (used abilties after Pile Pitch), Blm (AM and debuffs only), Rdm (light nukes, light cures, saved Convert after pld uses abilities) whm. Note all our mages had crow/raven gear for +eva and -enmity and a couple had bat earrings for +eva while blind.

We did lose many many times though at first but we didnt have a Second DD, as soon as we got mnk, we won first try. Before we relied on nukes that got resisted when Ultima would do Magic Barrier. Omega was easy for us mage heavy. Ultima was a different story. Once we had a balanced pt it went smooth and easy. -Mohit (some guy on KI)

All right. I did this and was successful. My pt set-up was RNG, BLM X5. Followed:

First off, the mammets. Have each of your 5 BLMs cast an ES+Bind onto the Mammets. Easy! Now just -aga them at your leisure.

    Next, there is Omega.
The only problem with that strat is that if you are unlucky, as soon as the "non BLM" character runs into aggro range, Omega will open with a special attack. If you're lucky, it will only be that single target Paralyze move. However, Omega can also open with Guided Missile, which will seriously mess you up. Make sure that your mages are standing in the bottom left corner in order to avoid this occurrance.

If (When) you wipe, the mages will die first. Have the tank run down to where the mages are located so that he too can die in a safe location. Reraise, then repeat until it dies.

Finally, Ultima. He has much less HP than Omega, so you guys should die much less. However, he does still pack a wallop, and a lot of his attacks are AoE/Directional. Space yourselves accordingly.

When he nears death, Ultima will use a nasty ability called "Equalizer". This will destroy you guys, so I suggest bringing along at least one CCB to use, just in case. Good luck.

    Won in 38 mins.

No CCB were used, and look-out for an ability that Omega does called Discharger. Magic becomes useless, and with no dispel, you are pretty much screwed.

That happened to my group once and had to start over. Trick is to kill Omega before he can get that ability off. Thank you for your input, I hope this thread helps other people struggling on this BC. -Kageryu (some guy on KI)

I did airship fight as PLD, went 1/2 (would have gone 1/1 if I'd fought and subsequently died in the right spot the first time ^^;; Positioning is important! We took too long getting me up from the tricky spot, and got tossed out when Ultima was at like 2%). It certainly takes a lot of resources to do this fight as PLD, but it's way far from impossible. ^^ I did, though, stack up on Eva+ gear for Omega, since his accuracy is absolutely horrible. Emp hairpin, winged boots, double bat earrings with blinding potions, an SH would probably help even more if you can find one to borrow. The weapons definitely hit hard, so I earth staff tanked the fight. I can't remember whether it was Omega or Ultima, possibly both, but I got some absolutely horrible Slow on me, setting my Flash timer back to 3-4 minutes, and the Voke timer down to 1-2 minutes. I did lose hate a few times, but not enough to make it an issue.

I used a LOT of hipots, and took some yag drinks as well, so that the RDM wouldn't have to worry about refreshing me. Our setup was PLD MNK RNG WHM BLM RDM. -Lexa (some guy on KI)

    Won with
NIN PLD SMN BLM DRK RDM

Mammets= Pld runs in, grabs agro from all with eva gear, i pull them from him one at a time, pld cant engage so you can spam cures on him without hate, i tried to pull mages type as soon as i could, low mp after this but we killed fast enough.

Omega= i moved west, the rest of the party east (stay oposite side from omega in case you all die) jubaku, absorbed misile, and began tanking, didnt have brd so is nice but not needed, had PLD, DRK , BLM on a flash >> stun >> stun order worked really good, tanked with 0 problems till 20%, we used 1 CBB when it went on drugs, as soon as i saw a tp move i used another, killed with ancient magic. Run from pile pintch, stun or flash after jumping move, and spam paralyna. gear wize nothing too fancy, scorpion harness, borrowed a emp hairpin, bomb queen ring, mermaid, evasion earing, high breath mantle, drain hp katanas. Have PLD with certain degree of hate, you can actually afford one wipe on omega so try to make a lot of dmg before you go down. Share hate with pld in case you dont have shadows or something. Spam dispellllllllllllllllllllllll cause has magic barrier.

Ultima= we had more problems on this one, petrify move sucks and chemical bomb is way hardcore, i main tanked it till chemical bomb and pretty much we bounced it around, at some point i was petrified and it missed me like 15 times while the pld was trying to get hate, i assume if you have a lot of eva gear you can do this even more easily, again at 20% CBB thing one last at 10, PLD used invincible and blms both manafont, rdm chainspell, i mijin gakure ftw :O

Tanks get some hi pots, pld def food, ninja sushi is good but i wanted eva so used a jack o lantern, rereaise2 hairpin
Mages hi ethers, yagudo, Blms have some MP+ whatever items to equip in case you are weakened.
Used 4 CBBs -Inkult (Some guy from KI)

After defeating the BC you will have a nice cutscene and be transported to Lufasie Fields. Congratulations.
