How to set
up an In Apolo’s Name Banner on your site
by Joanna Blackwell
-
Pick whichever graphic you like best from the display
below these instructions.
As a sample we'll use
http://eclectica.pulp.nu/apolo/images/
inapolosname4.jpg
-
Save it to your hard drive, then upload it to your own server.
NOTE: The graphics host does not have enough bandwidth
for everyone to link to the pulp.nu server nor the yahoo.com
server. So, please be sure to save the graphic to your own
hard drive and server.
-
Apply this HTML code:
<a href="http://www.geocities.com/inapolosname"
title="In Apolo's Name: AAO Fans Unite to Build a
New Ronald McDonald House in Seattle">
<img src="inapolosname4.jpg"
border="0"> </a>
-
You'll have to add the rest of your address to
the <img scr="inapolosname.jpg" border="0"> code.
For example: If your site is:
http://www.IloveApolo.com and you uploaded the image
to your main directory, the URL to put would be:
http://www.IloveApolo.com/inapolosname4.jpg
The code would end up looking like this: <a
href="http://www.geocities.com/inapolosname"
title="In Apolo's Name: AAO Fans Unite to
Build a New Ronald McDonald House in Seattle">
<img src="http://www.IloveApolo.com/
inapolosname4.jpg" border="0"> </a>
-
Remember to put in the correct graphic name for whichever
graphic you chose.
In this case: inapolosname4.jpg
-
Place the code wherever you'd like to have the graphic
show up on your page.
