Aims

Learning objectives:

1.    To use simple and continuous forms correctly.

2.    To make negative.

3.    To ask yes/no questions.

4.    To form questions about any word of the sentence.

5.    To make sentences passive ( if possible).

6.    To say the part of speech of some words.

7.    To read the sentences correctly.

  Performance objectives:

1.    Saying sentences in simple or continuous forms.

2.    Writing the negative form of the sentences.

3.    Asking each other yes/no questions.

4.    Forming questions – the answer is the underlined words.

5.    Changing sentences that have an object into passive voice.

6.    Saying the part of speech of some words.

7.    Reading sentences in good pronunciation.

Technological objectives

1- To search for information.

2- To make  power point  presentation.                 

4- To use Yahoo Messenger to ask and answer questions.

5- To produce a summary and publish it online.

 

 

   Behavioral Objectives:

1. Students feel independence.

2. Students share each other to perform the job quickly.

3. Students learn that ' many hands make light work'.

 

Activities

I divide the class into four groups.

Each group is divided into a writer, a presenter, some who ask questions and some who answer the questions of others and a timer.

I prepare some good websites and save them offline.

I put them on different CDs

I give each group a topic then ask them to use the CD to have information.

I ask them to give a general idea, examples and then ask and answer questions with other groups.

The final ten minutes:

Each two groups will make a competition using Yahoo Messenger.

Students will do the following activities:

1.  Read about the topic quickly.

2.  Make front Page presentations about the subject.

3. Students present their topic orally.

4. Students make conversations.

5. Students make competition to answer different questions.
