Introduction

Dear Students:

Have you ever asked what are festivals and why are they held…_

If the thing done is more important than the doer what type of sentences do you use?

Let's discuss the importance of festivals

Using good English sentences_

                                 

                                                

Task:

Dear students: At the end of this web quest you'll be able to speak about seasonal festivals using simple present and simple past tenses in active and passive forms_

 

                                          

Process:

First, you will be divided into five groups_

Second, you'll be assigned to a team of four students_

Group One will discuss summer festivals

and answer these questions:

What are summer festivals?

Give example_

Put you summary in a Power point show_

Group Two: will discuss winter festivals

And answer these questions:

What's the meaning of winter festivals?

Mention a winter festival_

Put your summary in a Power point show_

Group Three: will discuss spring festivals and answer these questions:

What is spring festival?

Give examples_

Put your summary in a Power point show_

Group Four: will explain the present simple passive voice and answer these questions:

What is the form of simple present tense?

How does the form change in passive? Why

Mention some examples_

Put you summary in a Power point show_

Group Five: will explain the past simple

passive voice and answer these questions:

What is the form of simple  past tense?

How does the form change in passive? Why?

Mention some examples_
