Aims

Learning objectives:

1.    To define festivals.

2.    To speak about festivals in different seasons.

3.    To speak about the importance of festivals.

4.    To ask yes/no questions

5.    To select passive sentences.

6.    To change passive into active.

7.    To say the part of speech of some words.

8.    To read the topic correctly.

  Performance objectives:

1.     Defining festivals using the book dictionary.

2.     Speaking about seasonal festivals.

3.    Clarifying the importance of festivals.

4.    Asking yes/no questions

5.     Selecting passive / active sentences.

6.     Changing passive/active sentences.

7.    Reading the topic for detailed information..

Technological objectives

1- To search for information.

2- To make front page presentation.                      

3- To produce a summary and publish it online.

 

 

   Behavioral Objectives:

1. Students feel independence.

2. Students share each other to perform the job quickly.

3. Students learn that ' many hands make light work'.

 

Activities

I divide the class into four groups.

Each group is divided into a writer, a presenter, some who ask questions and some who answer the questions of others and a timer.

I prepare some good websites and save them offline.

I put them on different CDs

I give each group a topic then ask them to use the CD to have information.

I ask them to give a general idea, examples and then ask and answer questions with other groups.

Students will do the following activities:

1.  Read about the topic quickly.

2.  Make front Page presentations about the subject.

3. Students present their topic orally.

4. Students make conversations.

5. Students make competition to answer different questions.
