Hanayama in Autumn
Hanayama in northwest Miyagi and Omoshiroyama in Yamagata are two of my favourite places in Tohoku where I can enjoy the brilliant display of the autumn deciduous foliage amidst the evergreen trees. I think there is no further need for words, the pictures below will more than adequately sing the praises of Hanayama in autumn.
The two pictures above were taken at the end of October in 1999 using my regular camera. I think the autumn colours were better in 1999 when compared to 2000. The picture of the waterfall below was taken in late October in 2000 using my digital camera.
