The Love that Shamed FURUBA
by

The Furuba characters were once unique
Each distinguishable from the rest
But now differentiation hopes are bleak
With them looking generic at best

Maybe in color things would be better
But we’re not privy to that
Constant confusion makes us bitter
Especially one Jyuunishi Cat

Kyo was in a very delicate bind
His heart and mind were a mangle
A long due confession plaguing his mind
With no escape from any angle

He searched Kaibara's vast halls
But there was a tiny problem
Today was the cultural festival
And everyone was in costume

Not that he was participating
Never in a million years
Instead he lamented not listening
Not tuning in his ears

He had no clue what his class was doing
Or what the girls were wearing
And so he was avidly searching
Along with some naughty swearing

He found her looking a bit different
Then again she was all dressed up
A white flowing robe with a rosy hint
She was wonderfully made up

She stayed silent when he approached her
Hardly acknowledging his presence
That he found to be quite unlike her
She merely gave him a side-glance

Her back was to him
When he began what he wanted to say
"I...I" but the words wouldn't come
While he was this way

"I love you" he wanted to shout
"You brighten up my world!"
Those words, he wanted to get them out
And her he wanted to hold

Nothing was said by the girl in question
While he struggled with his pride
She looked uninterested in his confession
And moved to leave his side

Kyo knew that the moment was ruined
Something was to be done
She had become a very serious woman
As if her relationship to him was none

He didn't think he just did
And reached for her departing hips
And acted in a desperate bid
Applying a kiss to her lips

  'Slap' was the resounding sound
That echoed though the place
From her he never expected
A rebound
That would mar his face

He gave her a closer look
And realized his grave error
They looked identical in a book
Not in reality, to his great terror

"How dare you!" she screamed at him
Giving him a murderous glance
When flustered, he acted on a whim
Not giving his brain a chance

To differentiate between his love
And some psycho moody girl
Someone must hate him from up above
To allow this to unfurl

To make things a million times worse
While he was engrossed
There was a fellow Jyuunishi curse
"I saw you!" he did boast

Kyo would ensure Momiji and his camera phone
Would soon suffer a fate
That would cause the Rabbit to scream and moan
Until Kyo's anger would sate

And so Kyo's big blunder
Was soon common knowledge
His bed Kyo would hide under
Until it was time for college

While Machi, she made more of a mess
Of her house and home
That boy had stolen her kiss
It was something he shouldn't own

That was the story of the mislead confession
As narrated by me to you
And now Machi’s great appetition
Was for Kyoburgers cooking on the BBQ
