Today I returned after 5 days away. I think that will be the most consecutive days away but weather and attendance wreaked havoc on scheduled appearances. It was 10:06 and 73 degrees. For some reason it was very chaotic at the season pass entrance. Apparently, numerous people were there to have there pictures taken. Lauren was in the season passes and the scanner was not working. I did get into the park and started my day off at the storm today. It was vortex, abyss, cyclone and then I went on the dragon once on the steep slide and then on the curved slide. Next, I walked across the park to my favorite ride in the whole park whitewater run. I went on this 3 times in a row before going to the body slide. I went on each one once. I had now this morning ridden every slide in the park and that made the stair count 600
I then returned to the storm. This time I went on the cyclone, abyss, vortex, abyss and cyclone and then I returned to the dragon going once on the steep slide and then on the curved slide. This made me win the 1,000 stair game as my total went to 1,108. I then went back to the storm and went on the vortex, abyss, cyclone, cyclone, abyss, vortex, vortex, vortex. This made the stair count 1,620 I do usually know how many stairs I have climbed at any point in the day. Kristen asked me how I knew I dont really know except that numbers are my business. Plus if you actually keep up with me I like to stop on even numbers in increments of 5 and I can always go that far back.
Who did I happen to see today but my very own sister and I know she just has one slide ride in her and I even know these days that her ride is the vortex so that is where we went. It is different riding with someone than it is alone. This made the stair count 1,684. Next, we went around the river 1.5 x
Once rested up made our way over to the dragon. On the way over we saw Jamie who once again said I should go in the pool but that isnt happening. She never gets to see me not that Jamie isnt someone who you wouldnt want to see but there is no wave pool for me. I did notice Jamie had some curls in her hair today. My sister would only watch on the dragon I went on the steep slide once and then I went on the curved slide 3x. Tina says she has never seen anyone go past the umbrella so I am trying to figure that out. My sister could offer no advice except to say that I can make it to the umbrella. Well now there is a challenge for me. This I think I should be able to figure out now if I could only find away to hook up with Jessica K the cashier I hold dear but she is not a lifeguard.
Amazingly, my sister had one last slide ride left in her and that was my favorite ride of them all whitewater run. We went on that and then we would be done. It made my stair count 2,010 for the day and 11,300 for the year. Next it was time for Mark walks through the park Today Kara was at the Dippin dot cart. It is a brand new cart. We did stop in the Captain Funs Pizza Palace and Kim was in there. We made our way to taco where in a sweatshirt but wow look at that hair my favorite of all braided pigtails there was Emily who knew someone who saw this yardtree. Id buy one right now if they had one but there isnt one around. It sounds very intriguing to me and Tree Refills are up on the board at Taco but I have not been able to get a Yard Tree. Hot Dog was closed because there were some after school specials. Therefore, my sister and I decided to leave the park for lunch. Emily wont be back until Wednesday because soon she will be a college student and has orientation. I learned her friend in Taco was Rebecca who seems to me to be very intelligent so Emily took all the credit for that. Maybe when Emily finally returns she can sell me a yardtree.
As we left the park I chatted with Kara at Dippin Dots she is totally over Scuba and moved on to the ever so hot lifeguard Bobby who I dont even know. If she isnt working on Tuesday night we will walk the park to find him. I think we can make that a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop Toooooooooooooooooooooooooosday. Dont forget Tubin Tuesdays begin this Tuesday June 11. They are from 6:00 until 9:30 p.m. and admission is only $7.00. Deep River Waterpark is now open from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. be sure to come on out and have a splashtastic time. Ill see you there.
