Yesterday was such a great day for me at Deep River Watepark which you can read about at Deep River Waterpark June 29, 2002 Deep River Waterpark Daily Could we possibly repeat such a feat? Today I did not have much time to play as I was going back to my home town to view a parade at one. I started off the day at the storm and I wondered as I walked up the stairs why it was so quiet down below. When I arrived at the top Cassie was dialing on the phone and David told me I just can't go down because no water was flowing. I guess they must have some new people or something because one would think you would notice before you open the park hey that whole complex isn't working.

Those guards had to stay up there and I really wanted to know why some one did not stop me before I climbed up all those stairs on this hot humid day. Well I could go down and find someone so for the second time since I started climbing stairs down I went. The first time was during a storm and the Lovely Christina was working at the top of the Dragon later I was nearly hit by a flying chair that day. I made my way to health services and there was not a sould to be found. However there was this door that said do not enter and it was open but I did not wish to cross the boundary and having taken my glasses off recently I really was not able to see all that well it takes some time to adjust. I did not want to be electricuted by perhaps an invisible fence. Luckily, Jimmy came to my rescue and asked if I needed something and I told him they need the storm turned on. He said they were on it and that is good enough for me so I made my way to the dragon because on figures it will take a few minutes to put on a slide complex.

I had climbed 222 stairs before even going down a slide today and that was a little rough on me. The storm seemed to be garnerning lots of attention and I saw the water go on and that is where I went after the dragon. I rode the storm sporadically I liked Cassies hair because it was in pig tails and braided and that is my favorite hair style she said it was very easy. Today it was very hot to hot for me I like temperatures in the 60s-70s and that is perfect. In all I rode the storm 7x in a row before going back to the dragon. I rode the curved slide twice moving the stair count up to 858.

Next over to my favorite ride the tube slide I went it seemed Katie was having difficulty keeping up with the blue tubes as so many people were taking them to the body slide the sign says no tube required but no tubes are allowed so do not even try ok. I went on the tube slide 2x and that made the stair count 946. I then went on the abyss and that would be good enough for me because it was to hot and humid the stair count went up to 1,010 and 33,010 for the year.

I stopped by taco and despite it being the end of June Ryan informed me that there were no yardtrees for sale. They really want to push these twist cups but I am after a yardtree. At least Ryan moved back up to taco so he doesn't have to give out spoons and such. I am concerned about Pizza but they tell me there is always a rush and they had like 7 people working in there yesterday including a short guy named Chris who is new this year they did not know where he was today. Please go by something from Pizza so they don't have to make stories up about a rush. They have some breadsticks with cheese in them if they were plain I'd try some but I don't know about this cheese.

I saw Amy today as I was on my way she is a cash runner and she has red hair but people should not mistake her for "The Cute Red head" because the girl that can start "The Dawn of a Whole New Era" also doesn't work at Indiana's Premiere Waterpark Deep River Waterpark of course which is located just 4 miles East of I-65 on US 30 in beautiful Lake County Indiand, Dawn works at a grocery store that is within walking distance of my home. I left the park at 11:44 a.m. The cars were coming in going to be a busy day today Keith confirmed that and it is good for busines. The temperature was 90 degrees. If it is not to hot I'll be back on Tuesday night for the 4th Tubin Tuesday of the year. Admission after 6:00 is only $7.00 on Tuesday nights and the park stays open until 9:30 p.m. I'll see you there.
