Next, I went over to the storm and started at the vortex going on my usual pattern. Hopkins was up there and it would be a long night. My pattern goes vortex, abyss, cyclone, cyclone, abyss,vortex,vortex,abyss,cyclone and cyclone which made 10x and made the stair count 828. I returned to the dragon and at the top was Ashley and as I took the quick ride down below there was Kate. They still knew how to run these slide sand that is a good thing. The stair count went up to 922 and then I went on the steep slide once more and my count went up to 1016 and I had won my 1,000 stair game but I just like to even things out so I went for a ride on the curved slide but I did not make it past the umbrella. I got pretty far but not far enough. The stair count went up to 1,110 and on Tuesdays there are Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop Tuesdays so I asked Kate how long she would be there and she said 10 minutes by the time I returned she had left the bottom of the dragon.
Has Mark T lost a step I can not believe that it took me that long to go back and forth. I did see Erik who was looking like a statue I had an extra tootsie pop in my hand it was cherry and from what I remember from Erik any kind will do. He is the only recipient ever of a Lifetime achievement award and if some miracle happens I already have him lined up to work “The Wedding of The Century” between the one and only Mark T and The Lovely Christina at Deep River Waterpark of course the odds of that right now seem to be slim and none and I saw Slim leave town on a bus. Kate was great because she was with Ashley and who wouldn’t be great if they got to spend the night with Ashley. I was just ok because I am all alone and even though daddy always said never let them know how you feel I had a heavy heart this evening because before arriving at the park this evening I was informed that my grandmother and last living grandparent had to be taken from the nursing home to the hospital.
It was now time for “Mark walks around the park” Kara was at the Dippin Dots cart which are available in assorted flavors for only $3.00 so when at the park why not give Dippin Dots a try? I still could not find this Bobby that I have heard so much about. She said she saw him today but was to afraid to say anything. Can you believe that? How are you going to get anywhere like that? I mean if the mood was right I am sure I’d say to Jessica K hey you really make my day would you like to do something sometime. However, a good opportunity has not presented itself like with Kara and Bobby or I am sure I’d say to that cute redhead hey you seem nice. Well I have told her that I like her hair and that is the biggest compliment you can get from me the one and only Mark T but I doubt she knows that so the Dawn of a whole new Era has not begun
Of course who cares about that what you really want to know is where did that fish go? It seems that Megan lost the fish, which is extremely disappointing. She said if I bought her a fish then she would take care of it. I went into the US30 surf shop and they had a glitter bubble fish for $4.00 but Megan said I am not to pay more than $1.00 I am leery about giving things away because then for unknown reasons people turn against me. Laura had made her way with paperwork in hand to the season pass entrance apparently there was quite a rush and Lauren had to calm her down. I am told there were like 15 people at once and they wanted their pictures taken and one came out. I tried to get Laura to go in the wave pool if I lost in stair climbing to Emily because as this story line goes I have everything to lose and nothing to gain but I still will go through with it. I do not know why people want me to go in the wave pool but I certainly don’t plan too. In Pizza I saw Kim and they said they had moved some product today and one person had even bought a cheese pizza that was in the oven that had been paid for.
Laura did manage to get a winning tootsie pop today and we may see her more in season passes if Heidi puts her that which only seems fair. The stair count for the year moved to 28,596. I left the park in the rain at 7:38 p.m. the temperature was 77 degrees and should weather permit I return tomorrow around 4:00 p.m. or so. Come on out to Deep River Waterpark and have a splashtastic time I’ll see you there.
