On the Mickey Mouse Club they had a day I believe it was Wednesday (but that is neither here nor there) which was referred to as “Anything Can Happen Day.” When your host the one and only Mark T. travels to Indiana’s Premiere Waterpark Deep River Waterpark of course located just 4 miles east of I-65 on US 30 in beautiful Lake County Indiana (which is now open from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. daily) anything can and usually does happen. Today, however not much happened.

It was 88 degrees and 10:01 when I arrived. A big crowd was already beginning to form. I went on the storm slides 13x in a row then I went on the steep dragon slide twice and that made the stair count 1,020. I went to my favorite ride whitewater run. I rode that 4x in a row. I got to meet Mitch and shake his hand he is one lucky guy as Corey introduced him as her boyfriend. He seemed nice to me. I then went up the dragon and down the steep slide I came. The stair count went up to 1,290. I then went to the cyclone it is my favorite storm ride and it certainly was a very good looking slide today. I rode it 3x in a row and then I went back to my favorite ride whitewater run. Even though I seldom end on numbers that do not end with 0 this would be my last ride today. It made the stair count 1,526 for the day and 25,786 for the year leaving me 82,214 stairs away from my 108,000 stair goal.

I should return tomorrow around 10 a.m. but we will see. Remember Deep River Waterpark is open from 10 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Admission is $14.00 or $12.00 if you have a valid Indiana idea. If you wait until 2:00 p.m. you can save $2.00 when the admission price drops to $12.00 and $10.00 respectively. Come on out and have a splashtastic time I’ll see you there.
