Lindsey was at the front gate today she like my shirt. I did not feel I could say the same about hers. I began the day at the dragon. Dustin was back again at the bottom. I went on the steep slide twice and then the curved one twice. I went far but not far enough. Still working on trying to get past that umbrella. After that I went to the storm and started at the vortex and went in a nice pattern until the end because I wanted to end up on the cyclone so I skipped ahead. Katie was there and she was in a jacket today and seemed to be freezing. At the cage was Cassie who let me know that I could have the park to myself today. I have had the park to myself nearly every single day. It does not allow me any time to rest. One had to be very confused about why she was sitting on the ground when there was a perfectly good chair there.
Stair count went up to 760 as I rode the storm 6 times. I then needed a rest so around the lazy river I would go 1.5 times and hopped out to go on my favorite ride whitewater run and the lifeguards hair up there blew everywhere. I went on it 3 times and then went over to the body slides. First I went on the open and then the enclosed which made the stair count 980. I saw Jamie who asked where my sister has been I don�t know except that she got severely burned from using no sunscreen on Monday. On Tuesday night I wasn�t even able to get her on one slide ride. Jamie asked if I was lonely sure it is a lot different riding on the slide with someone than by oneself but I have gotten used to it. Plus I can move a whole lot faster because I really doubt anyone could keep up with me.
After this I went over to the storm started at the cyclone and went down the line riding each slide once. The stair count went up to 1,172 and soon I would be through. However, I like to end on round number so I went to the dragon once on the steep slide and then on the curved one which made the stair count 1,360. I stopped by Taco and Emily and Ryan were in there and they had 2 customers who were employees before I got in there. Once I came in at least there was a parade of people coming to taco. Sure they were all employees but that is ok. I got asked numerous questions by Emily. My favorite movie: Defending Your Life with Al Brooks. Emily feels that must be before she was born. However, had some sort of fondness for Peter Pan. My favorite song I haven�t one. My theme song is You May Be Right by Billy Joel. �It May just be a lunatic your looking for� My favorite food rack of lamb to which I had to take grief from Emily who serves tacos all day. Apparently, it is terrible to eat lamb. I have it like twice a year at Alexander�s in Highland and I am not going there by myself but when the accounting group to which I belong does I often get that and for my birthday I did make a small leg of lamb as my own parents stood me up on that day despite the fact they were not all that far away. Like less than 3 miles and they were in the Tri-town area in which I reside. After rack of lamb my favorite food is spaghetti. I love the baked spaghetti at Fazolis.
Well I did not have to move very far for this day to get a gold star. It became a sensational day and within moments a Totally Terrific day although Tina would only have two tacos with very little meat on them. Amanda and James relationship is going well I hear from Amanda isn�t that great I mean James is nice and tall. Corey came in with a cut on her forehead which made one wonder and this really raspy sounding voice. I could just nod in agreement although she thought I was mocking her if I wanted to mock her I would do an impression of how she sounded. I just couldn�t imagine that anyone could feel great with that sort of voice. Eventually Ryan and Emily were relieved so they could go on break. They must have gotten tired from all the customers I brought in there today.
It was now time to be on my way and I left the park at 12:57 p.m. the temperature had risen to 71 degrees and I thought this was a pretty good day as the stair count moved passed 20,000 and to 20,270 for the year. It turned in to a really good day when on my way home to host Father�s Day I had to stop at a store and I got to see Jessica K which really made my day. I return for day # 3 in a row probably around 4 or so weather, traffic and all other things permitting. Remember Deep River Waterpark is now open from 10 a.m .until 6:00 p.m. Daily. This Tuesday June 18, 2002 marks Tubin Tuesday #2 when after 6:00 p.m. admission is a mere $7.00. Come on out and have a splashtastic time before summer passes you by. I�ll see you there.
