You have 5 count them 5 more opportunities to experience a Tubin Tuesday this year. You can get in for a mere $7.00 after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday nights through August 13, 2002. The park remains open until 9:30 p.m.
It was 5:51 and 77 degrees when your host returned. The skies were overcast and the lights came on early tonight. I was just going to ride every slide in the park twice and then be on my way because not feeling all that well today. I began at the dragon went down the curved steep slide and then the curved. Next, went over to the storm went on the vortex, abyss, and cyclone. Next over to my favorite ride in the whole park whitewater run. Brittany was at the top of that. She said they had to close earlier in the day for an hour or so because lightening was over the park. Then I went to the open body slide followed by the closed body slide. Sasha was up there and that was different but at least sensational.
It was a Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop Tubin Tooooooooooooooooosday today. I went over to Health services and Erik, Misty, Sasha and Tina were in there so it became a Totally Terrific Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pop Tubin Tooooooooooooooooooosday. In unison I heard what’s with the new shorts. The conclusion was drawn they were a purplish color. Perhaps tomorrow I will have a different pair. Erik had spoken to the lovely Christina just the other day the same person who drove me from my trademark yellow into the “Orange You glad it is finally over” storyline and quite frankly the general public said yes we are because numerous people do not like the Lovely Christina and do not want a “Reunited and It Feels So Good Story Line” From 1998-1999 while I was at Citibank they said dump the Lovely Christina and pursue “The American Beauty Kelly G” and they formed the Kelly G Fan Club who sole purpose was to get Mark T over the Lovely Christina. When I left Citibank I bought a house on the June 29, 1999 to celebrate the Lovely Christina’s 19th birthday and I went to Prater Industries and they came over to my home and said Dump the Lovely Christina and they became no as “Mary’s Minions” When you say Mary Z’s last name you can’t help but be happy. In 2000 when at Lake Point tower I brought in the clock they gave me at Citibank with the Lovely Christina’s picture and they said she was nothing but trouble for me the one and only Mark T. In 2001 we were done when they say hope floats and I may float on a tube but no hope floats for me. After the lovely Christina basically ripped up my heart, stuck in a blender, poured in it a glass, put in her mouth and then spit it out into my face getting some blood in my beautiful hair. Would it be so bad to have dinner with me just once that’s all I ask just one chance. Apparently it would be appalling. Would it be so bad to keep ones word the lovely Christina managed to lure me to the wave pool in 2000 in exchange she promised I could take her picture and 2 years later I am still waiting for that picture and that is why I never ever go in the wave pool I don’t wish to stir up memories. I switched from my happy go lucky yellow shorts to the orange you glad its over and all hope was lost. I don’t know what is so terrible about me I wish I knew but now I know there is nothing I can do. I am destined to be a sad lonely guy waiting to die. My only consolation is my sister the nurse tells me most people do die alone so at least I will be in the majority on that.
Kate would be coming soon because she was out rotating. I can remember everyone’s flavors but not Erik’s because he just takes what I have. I was still in the market for a red whistle and he happened to have one from way back when he was a lifeguard he used it every year so he might not part with it Kate was wearing some glasses so that she looked smart. However, she did not look artsy. Can Kate defend as the Female Lifeguard of the year or with this her last year will she get a Lifetime achievement award only one has ever been given out in the entire 8 year history of Deep River Waterpark and you can view that at The Only Lifetime Achievement Award Ever Given by the one and only Mark T. Will I be going in the wavepool this year highly unlikely. There are 3 chances to get me there and I doubt any will happen so I am pretty confident I wont be at the wavepool in 2002 not that you shouldn't be.
1. The best chance of them all can Emily from food and beverage climb more stairs than me the one and only Mark T in one day if she can I have agreed to go to the wavepool. I think this is the best chance people have even though I can easily climb thousands of stairs non stop on any given day.
2. If some one really wants to go out of the way they can track down "The Cashier I hold Dear" "Seeing Jessica K Makes my Day" "Finally Jessica K made Mark T ok" She works at a grocery store in the area where I reside and wears a blue jacket. Set Mark T up with Jessica K and I'll go in the wave pool.
3. Well maybe there isn't a 3 but maybe there is will save that for later
Now for female lifeguard of the year it seems it will be the toughest competition yet you can view The 2002 Female Lifeguard of the Year contenders. Erik actually gave me his whistle and that is why he has a lifetime achievement award for things like that. I doubt that it will remain in my possession long but we will see. After my stay in Health services I went back to the dragon and rode the steep slide twice and then I went to the storm and rode each ride once and returned to the dragon and there was Kate at the bottom obviously I had come to see how she was doing. I rode the steep slide two more times and that made the stair count 1,080 for the day and 41,914 for the year. I would now be on my way.
It was very busy at the front gate Laura was there and she mentioned she turned 20 on June 5 and that is very exciting for her I do not know if she can make the calendar though. I mean when Tina Turned 21 and we had more fun on April 29 that is calendar material. The Oh So Beautiful Allison’s birthday on May 29 that is calendar material. Didn’t everyone miss Emily today and her birthday on September 28 that too is calendar material but this I do not know about. We will see. I don’t want to have to much clutter on the calendar. On December 31 it is the birthday of “The Cashier I hold Dear” “Seeing Jessica K Make My Day” “Finally Jessica K made Mark T ok” She does not work at Deep River Watepark although she does wear a blue jacket. I guess she is between 20-22 but I do not know. I know how to tell if a cashier is at least 21 the only problem is I don’t drink so I don’t have any reason to buy alcohol.
There was Lindsey, Ryan and Laura at the front gate and you know everyone loves Andrew especially the females I am told there is a petition for him to strip Amy says she did not sign it though. We will see I was on my way at about 7:50 and should be back tomorrow around 4 weather, traffic, and all other things permitting. It should be a beautiful stair climbing day. Come on out to Deep River Waterpark and have a splashtastic time. I’ll see you there.
