Is it better to watch things than to do them? Today, I returned to Deep River Waterapark at 9:58 a.m. the temperature was 88 degrees. I began the day on the storm and started right at the cyclone and there was hold on searching memory bank what is her name she was in guest services last year started late in the year I think it starts with a D I am going to go with Danielle so lets hope I am right. She seemed happy today and that is a good thing because it makes me have more fun. I know at the abyss there was Kristen hair in braided pig tails it is so nice. I was able to go on my usual pattern vortex, abyss, cyclone, cyclone, abyss, vortex, vortex, abyss, cyclone and cyclone and the stair count went up to 640 stairs quickly.
Then I went to the dragon I went on the steep slide first but timing was off and man was I in pain my back hurt but that didn�t stop me I just went right back up this time I tried the curved slide and still could not get past the umbrella. Now lets hope her name is Danielle because otherwise I am really out of it was now at the bottom of the dragon. I went once more on the curved slide and that made the stair count 922
Next, I went back to the storm and Dustin was the attendant it is good to see Dustin. He had gotten there at 9:00 a.m. I went on the abyss 2x and that sealed the deal once again I was a winner in my 1,000 stair game with 1,050 stairs climbed. I needed a rest now and where to go for a rest if you are me to the Lazy River and under the mushrooms I went because I like to walk beneath them and into the river I went and I could not avoid the Oh So beautiful Allison as beautiful as could be there was she. I am trying to put up a resistance to succumbing to her extreme beauty. It seems resistance is futile. She asked how I was today and I said OK and she said just Ok that is how I felt today.
I made it around the river 1.5 times and I got to see the Oh so beautiful Allison once again and she flashed a smile that is unfair I mean she is to beautiful to begin with but flash the pearly whites and who could resist her charm apparently not me the one and only Mark T that just made me feel so good. I don�t need someone else to crush me so why can�t I resist such beauty.
Once I had my rest I went on my favorite slide whitewater run. It was fun long wait as usual I am told I just missed Mike who would be up there later. With the stair count at 1,094 I went to the front and had Megan stamp my hand and got the yardtree and brought it into the park. Emily was at Hotdog today that is different because people expect her at Taco. I had the yardtree refilled with rootbeer refills on yardtrees are only $1.16 and that includes tax folks so make sure to stop by and buy a yard tree for $3.68 and then use it over and over again.
Emily wanted to know who Allison is and I told her she is a lifeguard and she is blonde and that doesn�t really help since probably 90% of the female lifeguards are blonde. Currently her legs are a bit bruised up so that is how you can spot her. The picture I have of her isn�t all that good but if you want to see this beauty here you go A not so great pic of the OH So beautiful Allison (Maybe this year I can get a better one) Allison�s hair is so thick she probably could hold up a beach umbrella in it. It is just beautiful I long to run my fingers through her hair. Emily wished me well in not falling for her but it wasn�t going so good today because she seems to get more beautiful ever time I see her.
Hotdog was the place to be as people like Amanda and her beau James came on in and there were quite a lot of customers probably because they heard Emily was in there. Who doesn�t like just to stop by to say hi to Emily? After drinking all the rootbeer from the yardtree I returned it to the car and then showed Megan the stamped hand upon reentering still haven�t gotten a fish for her but I only looked at Target and they had a nice fish but it came with 2 other things and Megan told me not to spend more than a $1.00 and those three things were $2.99
I decided to ride a few more rides. I started with the abyss making the stair count 1,158 and then I saw Ashley scale the stairs and boy can that girl run a slide so I went to my favorite storm ride and how quickly the line went. At one point I pegged out a girl on the abyss at like the bottom stair to see how quickly the cyclone was going and I rode the cyclone once and came up passed her again as she was on the first flight of stairs. I just love when Ashley runs a slide. Add to that today Mike was at the bottom of the cyclone and you couldn�t ask for a safer slide ride and it was so quick too. It may just well be there on one slide were the 2002 Female and Male lifeguard of the year. Mike was going to be running the abyss later which usually runs faster than the abyss but I got to ride the cyclone 6x in a row with very little wait thanks to Ashley so that made my day.
The stair count went up to 1,542 and I thought that was enough for the day so for the year it goes to 40,834 leaving me 67,166 stairs away from my 108,000 stair goal. I left the park at 1:47 p.m. the temperature was 88 degrees and should weather, traffic and all other things allow I should be back tomorrow so come on out to Deep River Waterpark and have a splashtastic time.
