In 2002 Deep River Waterpark was scheduled to be open 92 days or ¼ of the year. It is one of the shortest seasons ever with Labor Day falling on September 2. This year the first 2 days were washed away so at the most the park could operate 90 days this season. This year I have been at the park 44 times so with a mere 23 days left in the season I can almost guarantee that I will be there at least half the time. For the last 11 days I said goodbye to July and today I said I could continue no more as it was to hot for me Mark T. My scheduled return is Saturday August 3, 2002 and hopefully then I’ll bring you the majority of the 21 days remaining.
Can I climb 40,612 stairs in that short of time or will I go down in defeat? The running total is at 67,388 for 2002. My record in my 1,000 stair game 44-0 the finish last year was 55-4. In 1998 I climbed 65,000 stairs in 1999 I climbed 73,200 stairs in Y2K I climbed 92,000 stairs and last year I climbed 100,000 stairs so in the past 5 seasons I have climbed a total of 397,588 stairs will the half million mark be reached in 2003 and will that finally be the end of Mark T for that we will have to see.
Now time is ticking down so it is now or not until next year to come out to Deep River Waterpark. I’ll see you there.
