It was 5:43 and 91 degrees when your host returned today and a sadness like a dark cloud hovers over me but one day it will pass. Would it be today? I heard my name yelled and there was Kim in pizza it was good to see her back. I started the day off at the cyclone and then I went on the abyss and there was Corey and something was amiss as her foot was bandaged up and crutches were near by. Apparently Corey had a stand land on her foot and that must have hurt but she played through and I can sympathize because my left foot has been acting up lately
Next, I went over to the dragon and rode the steep slide followed by the curved one. Then I returned to the storm and there still was Corey. She said she was a gimp and definitely not going to win the storm pusher of the year. I can not think of any one that is up for that award this season.. I returned to the dragon and repeated what I did last time and the stair count went up to 632. Then I came back to the cyclone followed by the abyss and that made the stair count 760. I then rode the dragon once more this was a funny situation cause there was a big long line down the first flight of stairs and no one was on the steep slide because the people on the stairs would not let anyone by . I have no idea why. The stair count went to 854
I took a break for dinner with my family and then my sister the nurse got to pick the slide and she wanted to go on the enclosed body slide so in the line we went and eventually we got to the top. The stair count moved to 898. At the bottom of the slide there was Sasha it was nice to see her haven�t seen much of her this year she must be hiding out. Even though it was a sensational night that did not break the sadness barrier for me. She walked with me to get a tootsie pop it was nice to have some company for however short of time and then after a 13 hour day she had to be on her way. All good things must end.
Next my sister and I went up to the vortex and Corey wanted to know who my friend was. This was my sister not the one she knows this is my other sister who quite frankly has been with me at the park this year more than the sister people are accustomed too. Corey thinks I should be spending more time with my sister. I am not that difficult to fine and I am not going to force people to do things with me lets face it that has to be miserable. We went on the vortex and then on the abyss and my sister wanted to hear the whole truth and nothing but the truth about Corey�s foot since she is a nurse and always points that out to me had to be wearing a chain with RN today. Apparently it �wasn�t so lazy at the lazy river� yesterday and some hot guys had to help Corey out. The stair count went to 1,026 so I remain undefeated in 2002.and the stair count moves up to 67,388 for the year. I left the park at 8:44 p.m. the temperature was 83 degrees. Will I be able to make 108,000 stairs with only 23 days left in the 2002 season once we say Good Bye to July? Do I even have one more day left in me to say goodbye to July or was this the final day.? We will have to wait and see but as the day ends today there are only 24 more opportunities to enjoy Deep River Waterpark this season so you better come on out now. I�ll see you there.
