It was 10:11 a.m. and 72 degrees when your host returned to Indiana’s Premiere Waterpark for the 9th day in a row as Mark T’s second annual “Say Goodbye to July” carried on and what an adventure filled day it would be. I began the day at the dragon. First I went on the steep slide and the curved slide and then as I was walking to the storm there was Charles right back at work again today what can I say he must work everyday. I made my way over to the storm and started at the cyclone and there was the Oh So beautiful Allison she was right she did not look tired today she looked simply radiating. For some reason whenever I see Allison she makes me happy and not many people can do that. I do not know how she does it perhaps because according to Mark T she is probably the 2cnd most beautiful girl I have ever seen
I went down the row of storm rides over to the cyclone and then tried to work my way back but the line on the vortex got to long for the time so I went on the abyss twice. The stair count went up to 572 and then I went over to the dragon and I sure was lucky today because there at the bottom was the Oh So beautiful Allison. She said it looked like I was doing jumping jacks on the slide. I was not I was riding the slide in a manner in which I do not experience pain and until someone can prove otherwise there is no one that has ridden the dragon more than Mark T. In all I went on the dragon a total of 9x in a row. Mostly on the steep slide because often times there was no line there. A few times I tried to get past the umbrella on the curved slide and could get very close to it but not past it. Allison said I might need to gain like 200lbs because I don’t have enough wait to carry me. I have seen bigger guys try to go past the guard but no one has made it and Allison had never seen anyone go pass. I don’t think there is a way but it is fun to try anyway
The stair count went to 1,418 and it was time for Mark walks around the park. I saw Anne coming from group sales but that was not pizza and then there was Kim and she was at group sales which still was not Pizza and then Melissa was at least in group sales where she belonged so I said I would get the camera and come back and get some pictures of the sisters. I met there mom who worked with them I came back with the camera and they had asked this guy to catch them a tadpole to have as a pet and at least to my surprise this guy who I do not know went and spent several minutes until he caught a tadpole.
There was this girl from Guest Services who is new this year so I am not certain of her name and a bee. The bee got in her shirt and stung her and she threw the flower print shirt off. She was wearing a shirt under it at least and this sent the bee into a tizzy and first in stung me right between the eyes and then on a finger on my right hand the one where I type the j with so it is a little rough going today. It was kind of painful so I had to go to Health Services and there this guy put something on each sting. It was a bumble bee so at least didn’t have to worry about the stinger. It felt much better after that it was kind of amazing to me actually. I could see the swelling on my head. He was nice enough to give me some ice.
Kate could not have her picture today because she did not look glamerous. Hopefully, soon as I now have 14 photos to go and would like to get the pictures up ASAP. I continued my walk around the park into taco with this ice pack and there were Rebecca and Emily in there. It is definitely the place to be. I did not come to show them I got stung twice I was in the area and continuing my walk around the park. I am not going to let some bee stop me. It was quite an adventure though. Emily had to complain about competition apparently she really wants to be the 2002 Food and Beverage Girl of the Year after being edged out by Laura last year. Apparently, Emily is now backing Tina to be the 2002 Female lifeguard of the year. I really haven’t decided that I like Tina a lot and she is so fun to splash and her line moves very quickly when she is on a slide. However, except for that she is fun to splash I can say the same thing about Ashley. We will see what my decision will be when I make it
Emily asked what I was going to do when I get home and well I don’t really do much. I like my home very much I am not hiring an interior decorator because in my opinion I already have a beautiful home and just keep improving it. Most people that come in say how nice it is. When I recently had some windows replaced were amazed at the colors and stuff. Of course I can keep it that way because I have no children or pets. I may or may not have dinner. I don’t always have dinner because that is the one meal I don’t like to have alone. I was at the fazolis yesterday and had the baked spaghetti. On occasion I have a sister as dinner companion. Once last summer I had a former lifeguard as a dinner companion but I don’t’ talk of that much as that is not storyline material. I simply bought her dinner at the Olive Garden all she wanted was salad and breadsticks and I do love the Olive Garden just wouldn’t go alone there. Oh and that was not a date but it was an enjoyable dinner.
The Oh so beautiful Allison made her way to the cage and then they could see who Mark T thinks is just so pretty. With the clear bag which is in the running for best bag they could figure out who she was. Of course in the storyline I don’t hook up ever I have the crush and sometimes they last awhile but then in the end the girl will go away and maybe I will think of her many a day but I am certainly not going to hunt anybody down so may as well enjoy the moments one has because everyone is going to disappear eventually. Plus I don’t believe anyone could possibly like me. All though that is not totally true I have believed 3 gals could possibly like me one she probably did because the Kelly G fan club will tell you that The American Beauty Kelly G asked me to go to a movie with her in a round about way. However, she has gone away and I doubt I’d recognize her if I ever saw her again. Then from the “Dawn of a whole new era” storyline if I had any confidence at all in that arena I’d think the cute red head might like me. Of course she might just smile and wave to everyone but I haven’t seen her do that just to me. Oh well I have nothing to hide. In the summer my life is simply an open book and I am the one who leaves it open
Speaking of best bag competition Corey came along and she had some writing on her body. I could not make it out but some of it was things I would never say. You know when I worked at Citibank when they hired me they said “Mark we know your crazy but somehow that works for you and you are very effective.” They also knew that I never curse and everytime anyone was about to they would always say Mark I am sorry to say this. The only time anyone has ever heard me use any curse words is when I was reading or to quote what someone said. That’s just how dull I happen to be
I went on my way to the storm. I rode the abyss 5x in a row and at the top was Alex. She has a pretty good Hello but I am almost certain that Misty won last year and it would be very hard to beat her Hello Mark. The stair count went to 1,738 and then I went out the front gate to get the yardtree. I brought it over to taco but they did not have that on the sign. Rebecca hit refill and a price came up and that was good enough for me. Today I went with a code red. Emily told me that Allison was in there now isn’t that exciting if only I was able to use this information. They came to the conclusion that she ordered a mountain dew. Well speaking of the oh so beautiful Allison this had to look bad for me there she was in Hot Dog I was not trying to follow her so I just stayed outside of the building until she left and then I ordered an Italian beef. It was pretty good. I liked it at least and they got it very quickly. I am pretty sure it was Annette she even said to have a nice day and really poured the meat on.
I continued on my way back to group sales for this picture I had been trying for all day. I was able to finish off the yard tree and then get a picture of Kim and Melissa and if it comes out you will see it here. It was starting to get grey at this time but hopefully there was enough light. After this I went to the storm and having just eaten I went on the longest line which was the vortex and what a beautiful world it turned out to be because there once again was the oh so beautiful Allison. It really was a beautiful day. I then went on the abyss and then as I was walking to the storm I pulled up lame yet again. This is disastrous for your host Mark T because this is the second day in a row this has happened. Maybe I can’t climb as many stairs as I once could. The left foot did not want to go anymore. I made it to the top of the vortex and told Allison it was great seeing her because it is and to have a super terrific day. She said you too. Then that was my last ride as I came down the slide. The stair count was 1930 for the day as I hobbled away. The count for the year went to 65,250 leaving me 42,750 stairs away from my 108,000 stair goal.
Will Mark T have to say goodbye to Mark T’s second annual “Say Goodbye to July” or will I be able to make it for 3 more days. We will just have to see. I left the park at 2:33 p.m. the temperature was 84 degrees. Remember there are only 3 more weekdays of Deep River Waterpark so time is ticking away so why not come out to the park today? I’ll see you there.
