Day # 4 (of 12) of Mark T's Second Annual "Say Goodbye to July" Tubin Tuesday July 23, 2002

There are only 3 more Tubing Tuesdays this season. They are on July 30, August 6, and August 13, 2002 and after that there isn’t another one this year. On these Tuesdays Indiana’s Premiere Waterpark Deep River Waterpark of course stays open until 9:30 p.m. You can come at 6:00 and pay only $7.00 for all night. You can come earlier in the day and it is like getting 3.5 hours for free. Your host returned at 5:47 p.m. the temperature was 75 degrees. It was a bit windy but some good stair climbing weather. It for some reason seemed to be a lackluster evening.

I started on the dragon and went on a variety package of the steep slide and the curved slide. I went a total of 8x in a row and that is 752 stairs. Next, I went over to the storm and started at the vortex, then the abyss, and cyclone. I then went back in the opposite direction and the stair count went to 1,136. It was then time for my favorite ride in the whole park white water run which seemed to be the only ride with any line tonight. I went on it once and that made the stair count 1,180.

I went around the lazy river 1.5 times I saw Katie who says she has been working on the Anti- Mark T website but it was under construction or I’d put a link right here. Of course to see the beginnings of the anti Mark T website you can go to July 16 Deep River Waterpark Daily with your host Mark T and the beginnings of the Anti- Mark T website just go down a little bit. Katie said it was kind of dull tonight but there was some action when I came in at the front gate but you’d have to see Kristy in Guest Services because she knew the story of what went on.

I then went to the dragon I followed Kate up the stairs and then I went on the straight slide 3x and the curved slide once the stair count went to 1,556 and then for my last ride I went over to the cyclone my favorite storm ride and down it I went making the stair count 1,620 for the day and making 56,018 for the year. On the way out I saw Lindsey at Guest Services and she looked so sad she must have missed Kara from carts. She had a sweatshirt on but now was concerned about the pants she was wearing how do you like that? I left the park at 7:38 p.m. the temperature was 74 degrees. I return tomorrow around 4 and then making some early appearance for the next 4 days. Don’t let summer pass you by without giving Deep River Waterpark a try. I’ll see you there.
