First I had to cool off so I went to the mushrooms in the family pool located at the Lazy River and then I started my day on my favorite ride of them all whitewater run. It certainly was the place to be tonight. At the begining there was Kristen who is the front runner to win the 2002 female rookie lifeguard of the year award. She had not seen me in awhile because she was on vacation. By my count in June I was at Deep River Waterpark 18 of 30 days which is 60% of the time. I was also at the park 2 days in May so this was day #21 and would I maintain a perfect record in stair climbing or would the heat and crowd work against me things did not look good. (Hopefully in July I will be at the park more than 60% of the time we will see it did not get off to a good start as it was once again to hot for me yesterday)
I went on whitewater twice and then I went over to the abyss. I rode it 3x and that made the stair count go up to 280 and it was a slow pace. I went on the steep dragon slide which moved me up to 374 and then I returned to the abyss and rode it 2 more times but the pace was very slow I did not know if I would make it today. I returned to my favorite ride whitewater run and was so happy to see the Oh so beautiful Allison at the top of whitewater who could ask for anything more certainly not me. I looked up her birthday and according to my calendar it was on May 29 to bad I missed that would have bought her some earrings or such. The line was extremely long for whitewater but I went on it twice because it was well worth the wait to see the Oh so beautiful Allison. She was good today and seeing her made me feel great. She did not know what she was doing later tonight though.
At 590 stairs I had dinner my mother had brought some turkey but not Turkey Store Honey Turkey which is preferred by yours truly and availble at Strack and Van Til and when I leave the Deli and go to pay It might just make my day if I see Jessica K. My sister was going to join me on the slides tonight a lot of people do not realize I do have two sister and in a strange twist of event we are both scheduled to appear tomorrow afternoon around 4 together but coming separately so for 2 days in a row I will be with my sister the nurse. We went on whitewater run but the oh so beautiful Allison was on her way down and she was headed to the river. I could not get my sister to go to that because it makes her to dizzy. We went to the storm instead.
Ashley some how got from whitewater attendant to storm attendant she was here there and everywhere how about that. We started off on the cyclone and nearly ran into the wall I thought my sister was going to fly into Kristen. I never had so much trouble riding a slide in 8 years but she comes along and look at this we tried the abyss and nearly knocked over some little kids. We repeated and still didn't have much luck now my sister went under the tube who knows what she was doing. Finally the 3rd time was a charm and looks like we are in good shape for tomorrow. I guess we needed practice riding together. I moved my record to 21-0 this season in my 1,000 stair game by climbing 1,018 stairs which brings the total for the year to 34,028. Hopefully this is the tune up I need for climbing 4,000 stairs on the 4th of July
My sister and I return tomorrow afternoon around 4:00 p.m. weather, traffic and all other things permitting. Why not spend the day at Deep River Waterpark on the 4th of July admission is good for all day so you can come and go as long as you have your hand stamped at the front gate. You will have a splashtastic time so come on out. I'll see you there.
