For only the 33rd time this year host returned to Indiana’s Premiere Waterpark Deep River Waterpark of course which is located just 4 miles East of I-65 on US 30 in beautiful Lake County Indiana. It was 4:43 and 90 degrees. I saw Megan in guest services she likes squirt who is a purple penguin I purchased for her. She says that she will take good care of him. Tomorrow July 18 is Megan’s birthday. It is also my father’s birthday so I shall be away on Thursday but today it was back to back nights at the Waterpark for yours truly.
I started the day off at the abyss and just went on that at a leisurely pace. I went on it 5x in a row. I then went over to the dragon. I first went on the steep slide 2x and was half way to my 1,000 stair goal at 508. Could I make my record 33-0 in stair climbing this season or would this be the night that I went down in defeat. It was time for “Mark walks around the park” I saw Ann in pizza they ran out of crust so they had to make supersized pizzas they did look really big. I proceeded to the group sales entrance where on my way I saw Lindsey and Kara and they had seen Bobby but apparently neither one said a thing to him can you believe that? They were on break and heading back did you see that Kara was at Chills today and that line was like 5 people deep when I entered into the park so she must be doing something right.
I finally made it to group sales and there was Melissa who takes good care of me. She is often in that little house for these group things. I have yet to take a tour this year and today for some reason I left the camera on the table but hopefully during the day when the sun is shining we will get a good picture of the group sales area and Melissa and company. With wristband on I went over to the Lazy River and around it I went. Brittany is leaving for New York for 2 weeks soon and Lauren will be going with her which seems to be the reason I can’t get their pictures.
With 15 minutes left until the rides closed at 5:45 I went on the abyss and then the cyclone 2 times and the rides were then closed. I was at 700 stairs and had for the first time this season Mark T been defeated. Oh wait it was a Totally Terrific day as I got to see Tina she was cleaning up so past her last spot but that is ok. She still won’t ride the slide with Mark T. According to the Anti-Mark T website which is not up and running yet but will be hosted by Katie Tina is going to win the 2002 Female lifeguard of the year award since I am madly in love with her. Here at this website I’d be more than happy to take Tina to dinner and I probably like her oh I wouldn’t have coined the phrase Totally terrific but I don’t know that she is a shoe in to win the 2002 Female lifeguard of the year award. What if it is Kate? Or the OH SO beautiful Allison? Or the Ashley? I saw Kate walking the park she gave me a high five. If I can get her picture then I’ll have something to work with
The park closed at 6:00 p.m. and I had dinner with my family but switched sister’s tonight. Once the park reopened went around the river and then my sister was ready to go on some rides but nothing to high. We went on whitewater run. There was Bobby but Kara had not spoken to him earlier so how was I going to follow up on that? Earlier I had seen Lindsey and Kara and Pepito aka Jonathan at the front gate and Kara wanted to rub salt in the wounds but a certain individual has been banned so we never ever mention her again. I am over the devine. I just saw Jessica K “The Cashier I hold Dear” “Seeing Jessica K makes my day” yesterday. I love rhyming and Lindsey really seemed to love that sentence so I got to repeat it a few times
Next we went up to the body slides and up there was the Oh So beautiful Allison who was under the impression that I don’t ride body slides I recall many days where I pointed out I rode every slide in the park. I just don’t go in the wave pool and am not planning to lose to Emily so not planning to go in that all ever. You know I don’t think I can stand that close to The Oh So beautiful Allison because beauty just radiates from her. I was glad I did not have my glasses on because standing so close I thought wow is she beautiful and just imagine if I could really see how beautiful she must be.
Next it was over to the dragon. First I went on the curved slide and then the straight slide and the stair count went to 976 and I was pretty sure I was going to win tonight so it was time to put on a clinic I went on the storm and went from the vortex to the cyclone and back again after 10 I went on the cyclone 2 more times. Once I went with my mother and she had never been on the cyclone before and down we went and nearly crashed into the Oh So beautiful Allison. I went through the air with the greatest of ease winding up in the middle of the splash pool that cyclone is sure a rough ride but at least on the last ride I got to see the Oh So beautiful Allison and it was not her last day so maybe I will see her again on another day. Here’s hoping.
As I left the park I saw Misty do you think her and James should win the Best Brother sister worker combination or do you think it should to Tina and her Brother Jimmy the Cuz or do you go with Emily and Jake or Sasha and Jake. Misty managed to start a whole new competition and she was able to rattle off a few more brother sister combinations we will see. I noticed Misty was wearing a chain that said Fiji I found that very intriguing. Misty suggested I offer to bribe Allison since that is the picture I really want but yesterday she wouldn’t let me take it. To me it would be worth bribing Allison for her picture because she is just OH So beautiful. The stair count for the year moves to 50,794 leaving me 57,206 away from my 100,000 stair goal so I am not even half way do you think I can make it. We will see when beginning on Saturday or maybe Friday we begin Mark T’s Second Annual Say Goodbye to July when at some point during the day I will be at the park weather permitting every single day for the rest of July and if I remember it the camera should be with me. Come on out and have some splashtastic fun I’ll see you there.
