If we had some meat we could make a sandwich, if we had some bread. If you wait to long summer will pass you by and you won’t have given Deep River Waterpark a try. You don’t want to do that. The season is quickly winding down as very soon we are just 10 days away from the start of Mark T’s Second Annual Say Goodbye to July which begins on July 20 and lasts 12 days until July 31. You should come out and have some fun. Admission is only $14.00 or $12.00 with valid Indiana ID save $2.00 after 2:00 p.m.when the price becomes $12.00 or $10.00 with valid ID and don’t forget were half way through Tubin Tuesdays 5 down 5 to go when admission is only $7.00 after 6:00 p.m. Come earlier in the day and it is like you are getting 3.5 hours for free as the park remains open until 9:30 p.m.
Today I returned at 3:51 p.m. The temperature was 77 degrees I began the day at the storm and with no lines in site thought this would be a good stair climbing day I went on the vortex, the abyss and then you know I am about the biggest supporter of Deep River Waterpark so for me to break bad you have got to really be bad. I counted 8 people in front of me and it took me 15 minutes to get on to the cyclone. There were no accidents, no rescues just someone running it slower than molasses. It was slower than the tube slide on a very crowded day. In fact, I’d go so far to say that in the history of the storm there has never ever been a slide run that slow. It was absolutely pathetic. Instead of 5-6 slide rides I got in one. Well that disgusted me I mean if there were a long line lots of people. I watched line for the cyclone when I was done end up on the 3rd level of stairs and no waiting on any other slide. Of course you could tell when that person left because amazingly slides actually ran again.
I went to the dragon. First I went on the steep slide and then the curved slide I got pretty far but not far enough. I then when to whitewater run and that is usually slow but there is no way anything could be worse than the cyclone was earlier today. I went on that and then in my effort to ride every slide in the park I went on the open body slide and then the enclosed body slide. I got to see Cory at the top she really had a lot of orange. She told me orange is my favorite color. I am not sure if that is true. I believe the official bio of Mark T reads my favorite color is green. However, if you come to my house you might come to the conclusion that my favorite color is blue and that is what a lot of people think. Then you must remember that Mary loves Yellow and I did have my trademark yellow for several years so does anyone know what my favorite color is?
Well Cory was in Florida for a long time 4 days which is why she probably did not see me. She had a towel and some orange shorts that said lifeguard Florida. I was very disappointed that she did not model them for me because that I would like to see and I bet a lot of other guys would too. I did get to see her orange belly ring and her hair scrunchie matched her sandals and her watch matched her sunglasses so you just got to love that. Jason was the whitewater attendant today he notice that I had new shorts on for the second day in a row. I couldn’t decide what kind I liked so I just bought them all. Today coming very close to being back in my trademark yellow but not all the way as it was half yellow and half black
The stair count went up to 640 and I returned to the dragon. I once again went on the steep slide twice this time moving the stair count for the day up to 828 and then it was safe to go back to the storm. I rode each ride once making the stair count 1,020 and was victorious and since there was no line I took advantage to go on my favorite ride whitewater run. I saw Corey in the water with her tshirt on that was quite a sight to see lucky me. I went on whitewater twice it was nice the stair count ended at 1,108 which makes 43,022 for the year.
On the way out I saw Kara and friends at the Lemonade stand I heard Bobby was at the river but she is still to scared to talk to him. One of the friends would have went but that was a no. She pointed out that I don’t tell Jessica K hey I like you well that is different I am a customer in a grocery store and I happen to need to purchase items. I talk about current affairs and my love of the waterpark and how terrible life is. I do not know when she works if I get lucky and see her it is great if not that is usually how my life goes. Now with Kara she has a coworker in Bobby so she can see him all the time and they have a lot they can talk about so lets just deal the cards and see what happens already.
Can you believe Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli broke up? Apparently, this dampened the relationship between Lyndsey and Andrew who last night had been such a cute couple but now there on the outs and are just friends. Who knew Kristy had a boyfriend or Andrew would be available for her and she said she liked him so magic may be in the air. Hopefully, these two like David Hasselhoff who admitted himself to Betty Ford because of his increased social drinking can recover and live full productive lifes.
I left the park at 5:38 p.m. The temperature had risen to 79 degrees. I return tomorrow around 4:00 p.m. should traffic, weather and all other things allow. Please don’t let summer pass you by without giving Deep River Waterpark a try. Why don’t you go there right now. I’ll see you there.
