Thunder booms inside my head
And I hear it outside as I lay in bed
I cried myself to sleep again
It seems that I can never win
I wipe the tears off of my face
Try to think of a better time and place
The rain falls down from the sky
My heart is broken and I wonder why
Sometimes life just isn�t fair
I don�t know why I even care
