There are some things in life people just can't accept. These things are generally different than what they've always been taught. But that doesn't mean their wrong.
Throughout my life, my parents never told me what to believe or what not to believe. The choice has always been left alone for me to decide through my life experiences. I supposed that's why - even if I don't have an opinion on something - I'll defend it in an arguement. I know that it isn't right orwrong. I believe an open mind is important. Perhaps that is why I have such a diverse taste in music. I listen to bother ends of the spectrum - Hanson to Manson, neither of which people can accept. I've come to understand people reject the unknown. People don't understand because they don't listen. They human mind is a stubborn thing and once they've got a notion in their head, it's nearly impossible to change. And just because you understand something doesn't mean you have to like it. I don't like boybands, but I understand them. That's the only talent they have, they can't help it. It's not their fault they could never be in a real band.
So what I understand is that music is a form of art meant to express those creating it. Whether that's singing in harmony to a pop beat or performing death metal mutilating yourself onstage, it's all the same.
And if you don't like it, don't watch, don't listen.
