Automotive Software  (All software is "as is.")
PSOM:  Programmable Speedometer Odometer Module

Drive.exe - This program allows the user to select the proper gear ratio and tired size for desired speed/rpm.  It allows you to enter 6 transmission gear ratios (including reverse if you want)  and it will show you a chart of speed vs. rpm for all gears.  It will calculate speedometer PSOM constant and speedometer drive/driven parameters for Ford vehicles and others.  You can change any input, and it will recalculate to accomodate the changes you've made.

Speed.exe - This software is for calibrating speedometers.  The user enters the time in second between mileposts and the speedometer reading at the time.  This program will tell the user which speedometer driven gear to install based on he current gear for gear drive systems.  On Ford PSOM systems this program will give instructions on how to change the calibration constant.

Power.exe - This program estimate the average rear wheel horsepower applied to the track by an automobile during a quarter mile drag race.  Rolling resistance, aerodynamic drag, and inerital forces are all considered and reported.  Tire slippage and power peeks are ignored.  This is not the same as rated horsepower, but rather for comparing engine performance.
Software on this page is free to download and use. All software on this page is what you call, "as is."  Meaning nothing else.... but the program.  The site I found it on said that anyone is free to distribute it....so that's what I'm doin'.  Oh, and...these programs have been used by professional mechanics to come up with calculations.
