| BLOOD+ Taken From Absolute Anime: Blood+ is the TV series continuation of the story that started with Blood: The Last Vampire . The story continues the ongoing secret war between humanity and the immortal Vampiric monsters known as Chiropterans. These creatures are capable of disguising themselves as human beings in order to attack their victims. The war has extended into modern times and the latest resistance force is a secret organization called "Red Shield," which is a group that dedicates itself to eradicating the Chiropteran threat. Saya Otonashi is a seemingly normal young High School student living peacefully with her family. However, she has no memory of her past. In time, Saya will learn (the hard way) of her vital role in this secret war. from Wikipedia: Saya 's Friends and Family The series revolves around Saya Otonashi, a seemingly ordinary high school student who lives with her adopted family and secretly guarded by her Chevalier , Hagi (Haji in the English translation). Her adopted father, George Miyagusuku, is a veteran of the Vietnam War and was entrusted with Saya by David's father. Her elder brother, Kai Miyagusuku, is a star athlete, while her younger brother, Riku Miyagusuku, is a kind and smart boy who's shy. Red Shield (Goldschmidts) An organization formed to combat the Chiroptera, the Red Shield was founded by the descendants of Joel Goldschmidt, the man who originally found Saya and Diva and unleashed the Chiropteran menace into the world. Most Red Shield members are culled from survivors of Chiroptera attacks, and all possess a trinket with an embedded Chiropteran crystal. The Red Shield's greatest enemy is Diva, and are responsible for Saya's protection and well-being. Cinq Fl�ches Group (Goldsmiths) The Goldsmiths are a branch of the Goldschmidt family dedicated to protecting Diva; all their family members are Diva's Chevaliers. They control the Cinq Fl�ches Group, a powerful and influential conglomerate, with the ultimate goal of creating a world of Chiroptera for Diva's future. The family crest of five arrows (Cinq Fl�ches) and the names of the brothers are modelled after the family of Mayer Amschel Rothschild. One member of the Goldsmith family, Solomon, breaks ties with Diva, being the only Chevalier to ever do so. The Schiff (Shifu, Sif) An unstable balance between Chevaliers and Chiropterans, they are prototypes for the Corpse Corps, pseudo-Chevalier soldiers created by a group of scientists led by Boris under the sponsorship of Amshel Goldsmith in Khirbet--most likely based on Khirbet Beit Lei in Israel. Although they have similar regenerative abilities, the Schiff will eventually die from an attribute they call the �Thorn�--whereby their bodies gradually crystalize. As imperfect beings, the Schiff must avoid direct contact to sunlight otherwise their bodies will combust in a green flame. Unable to attain Diva�s blood (the only supposed cure for the �Thorn�), they gradually die off; Lulu is the last Schiff that survives by the end of the series. Diva She's the leader of the Chevaliers and Saya's twin sister. She provides the Delta67 (her blood) which is essential to transform people into Chevaliers, she can also use her song to transform 1 in 30 people into a Chevalier. When she was born she was kept in an isolated room as part of an experiment, and because of that she hated Joel, so that when Saya freed her she killed Joel and the people at his birthday party. Some people think she is really jealous of Saya because she was the only one to have a life with humans and to enjoy life. In episode 49 she dies while fighting against Saya, she died because of the deadly effect of Saya's blood in hers, but Saya wasn't affected because the consequence of having babies made Diva's blood lose its effect. From Little Mouse: The only two characters I write about are Solomon and Carl. Yummy, yummy Carl... Solomon Age 110: (appearance age 20): 4th Brother, French/Jewish - Solomon Goldsmith (S), CEO of Cinq Fl�ches Group, and Amshel's younger brother from Amshel's original human family. Although he agrees that Saya is now a threat to him and his partners, he harbors strong feelings for her, and always tries to protect her, despite his brothers' intentions to destroy her. He is introduced first as a delightful young man while dancing with Saya at her school in Vietnam, but it is quickly revealed that he is a Chevalier. After saving Saya from James, he has revealed that he wishes to protect Saya because he is in love with her. After that, he appeared at Nathan's mansion wearing a black suit. He told Diva when they first met he was wearing white. But now he wears black to symbolize that he no longer wishes to be Diva's chevalier. He told Diva he loved Saya. Since then, Diva has practically disowned him as a Chevalier of hers and tells him he may go wherever he wishes and do whatever he wishes. She also tells him he may take Saya's hand and have her bear his children. After he saved Saya from Amshel at the US Airbase, he sank into depression when Saya rejected him. He then launched a surprise attack on Diva, which failed utterly. During his captivity after attacking Diva, James calls him, "Momma's Favorite" and a bunch of other things (pretty boy, etc.), but because of some of his comments it would make sense that Solomon was the Chevalier who had sex with Diva as one of Amshel's experiments to get her pregnant. After being freed from captivity by Nathan, he went to save Saya once more from James, but was cut accidentally by Saya's sword coated in her blood. He proclaimed his allegiance to Saya as her Chevalier, but then crystallized in Amshel's arms shortly afterwards. He was the only chevalier to fight with his brothers (James and Amshel). Carl 5th Brother, Vietnamese - Carl Fei-Ong, school governing board chairman and CEO of Vietnamese branch of Cinq Fl�ches Group. Disguised as his alter ego "The Phantom", Carl was secretly kidnapping girls that looked like Saya in his anguish to meet her someday so they can finish their fight. Apparently, what Carl desired the most was Diva's love, but did not get it. So he went after Saya, believing that both he and Saya were lovers, and thus, should stay together. According to Amshel, he was only chosen to be a Chevalier to be used as a guinea pig for his experiments. His body suffered lots of modifications, including a spiked arm implanted in his body to replace the one destroyed by Saya in one of his fights. His final meeting with Saya was during the UK arc. Determined to die with her, his plan was to restrain her and drink all of her blood, killing both in the process as her blood is poison to him. But Solomon frees Saya by cutting off Carl's arm and Saya stabs him through herself, thereby coating her sword in her blood and causing him to crystallize. |
