Withdrawing Candidacy from the Lord Master
If you have presented yourself as a candidate for the Lord Master's ownership and, for whatever reason, feel that you must withdraw, read this carefully, as your reputation depends on it.
The reality is that there are more slaves than Masters, and a slave's good name is his most valued asset. If a slave accepts a collar from another Master while in negotiations with the Lord Master or any other Master, it indicates an absence of integrity on the part of the slave. Likewise, if a slave attempts to play one Master against the other as a sort of contest or competition with the ownership of the slave as a prize, such behavior is an outright insult to all Masters involved. Therefore, if a slave feels he must withdraw, it is advisable to adhere to the following procedure:
-
Inform the Lord Master that you are in negotiations with another Master if you are considering being owned by another Master. It is His right to choose whether to continue negotiations beyond that point.
-
Be sure that you remain courteous and respectful when making the announcement. Even as you withdraw, you are still being judged.
-
Remember that the Lord Master is human, like you, and any form of parting involves some measure of hurt feelings. If you remain respectful, He will wish you well with your new Master. Thrusting the news on him in a hit-and-run fashion will ultimately harm your reputation, something you really do not need if you are seeking to be owned.
-
If you desire to remain in touch with the Lord Master once you withdraw, it is mandatory that your new Master write to the Lord Master and inform Him of His permission to you to correspond. Otherwise, you are off limits; there are no exceptions to this rule.
Realize that the Lord Master wants your success as much as you do, if not more so.
