Add the first few plates

Stick in 4 number 5 axles; there should be around 1 studs space on the bottom. Don't worry about them actually staying there right now. We will secure them in a moment.

Build up some bricks. The axles probably won't stay there right now so don't worry about that.

Add the bushings that will help hold the axles in place.

Build it up with some more bricks and plates

Add 4 half-bushings
Now add four 9-tooth gears

Finish it off with an axle, worm gear, and two bushings. Great! You're done! To test this out, just twist one of the bushings you just added and watch it all happen. You can implement this mechanism into one of your creations by transferring power from the four axles at the bottom to something useful like the driving axles in a mobile vehicle (you might have to prolong the length of them though).
