Brief: The proposed computerised system is developed in Visual Basic 5.0. which acts as the front end tool and MS-Access 97 acts as the back end tool. Visual Basic 5.0 can powerfully handle the database management system.

Important feature of this system is that while issuing the books to the members we need to enter the issue date, the return date or due date is calculated automatically. If the member returns the books after the due date fine is calculated for the same.
