ABSTRACT                                          :         The function of pneumatic Transducer is to
                                                                       convert changes of length or surface displacement into
                                                                       changes of pressure. Thus pneumatic transducer is
                                                                       displacement transducer. The displacement of a surface
                                                                       results in a change of air-pressure which can be
                                                                       interrupted to find the displacement that has occurred.

                                                                        The aim of the present model pneumatic flapper valve is to
                                                                        demonstrate the working principle and to study the
                                                                        performance of the pneumatic transducer under different
                                                                        parameters involved. The model helps to gather a set of
                                                                        data on experimental basis. This data can be interrupted suitably.

                                                                        This setup is based on the principle of pneumatic transducer.
                                                                        These are finding wide application because of their simplicity,
                                                                        sensitivity and versatility.
