The customers issue the machining, casting & forging drawings of automobile
parts like gears, body, bonnet, slip yoke, fitting yoke, cross, forks,
cam shafts etc. From these drawings, 3D modeling is done using 3D modeling
package Unigraphics. From that model, forging weight is found out.

From the forging weight, estimation sheet is prepared with the selection
of production unit, & die.
Development of forging drawings:

The die layouts are designed from the forging dwgs with incorporating contraction
factor and production unit.

Responsible for preparation of cold coining & hot coining layouts for
better accuracy.
