Blake picked
them up twenty minutes later. He was dressed in a red Minor Threat hoodie and
black bondage pants. He had black spikey hair that had blue tips, blue eyes,
and the bridge of his nose was pierced. (like Branden’s from The Used)
“Dude, that’s
your brother?!” Emma asked before they got in the car.
“Yeah, why?”
“He’s hot!”
“Eww, he’s my
brother!! But, I admit, I get my fashion sense from him.” Roxi said smiling.
Roxi was
wearing a black zip up hoodie that had red stars on the pockets. She had a
black beanie on that had red flames, over her purple hair. With her black
dickies, she was wearing a plaid belt that had metal rings hanging on it. Red
converse finished off her ensemble.
Emma was
wearing a black Distiller’s hoodie with pink print. She had on black bondage
pants that had pink leopard print sewn on the pockets and the top of the pants.
Black converse and two studded belts finished her outfit. She was wearing her
hair flipped out.
“Hey, who’s
your friend?” questioned Blake, smiling a little.
“Emma, and
she’s too young for you.” replied Roxi, giving him a sarcastic smile back.
Blake
chuckled and started to drive to the Naptown Mall, Rancid blaring in his cd
player. He dropped them off at the entrance to the food court. Walking in, Roxi
led Emma to a store that was downstairs.
“Hot Topic?
Looks... kinda cool.” Emma said after reading the store sign.
“It’s ok.
Second best store in the mall though. Some of the clothes are cute.”
“What’s the
best?”
“I’ll show
you later.” Roxi informed her, heading into the store.
After they
looked around for a bit, Emma ended up buying a pair of pink fishnet
knee-highs, a sticker that had a cat face on it, and a big Rancid patch that
had a skull on it. Roxi bought a Strawberry Shortcake hoodie, because she had a
fetish for Strawberry Shortcake things. The girls walked out of the store, it
was now 7:35 and they didn’t have to be home until 8:30.
“Now, for the
BEST store in this mall...” said Roxi, walking towards the elevator.
They entered a
store called ‘Music Mania’ and Roxi led Emma towards the back.
“Isn’t that
the coolest guitar?” asked Roxi, pointing to a black and white electric guitar.
“That kinda
looks like my bass.” replied Emma.
“You have a
bass?! That’s so cool!”
“Yeah, my dad
got it for me when I was ten. It was my birthday present.”
While Roxi
was admiring the guitar, Emma went over to look at the posters when a guy
approached her.
“Hey, you’re
the new girl at school right? Emma?” he asked.
“Depends on
who wants to know.” she retorted.
“I’m
Stephen.”
“Hi Stephen.
Yes, I am the new girl at school and my name is Emma.”
Stephen was
wearing red Dickies and a black long-sleeved Zildjian shirt. He had blonde
shaggy hair, green eyes, and black ‘emo’ glasses.
“I’ve seen you
around school.” he said.
“I don’t
think I’ve ever seen you.” replied Emma.
“I’m in Mrs.
Franklin’s home room.”
“Oh.”
“You hang out
with Benji, Joel and Roxi right?”
“Yeah.”
“You should come
hang out with me and my friends on Monday. You could get to know some more
people.”
“Sounds good.
Umm.. you can just find me, since I don’t see you around.”
“Alright. See
ya on Monday then.”
“See ya!”
Emma said as Stephen walked out of the store.
“What was
that all about?” questioned Roxi.
“He just
wanted to know if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends on Monday. I
figured it would be a good chance to meet some more people.”
“That’s
cool.”
After they
were done shopping around, Roxi called her brother to pick them up.
