What a surprise, it’s been you all along

I don’t want to face another day
Without you here by my side

There’s so many ways you make my day
I couldn’t say them all if I tried
Isn’t it apparent how I need you?

You saw me when I needed

Yet you stayed close, you were my only friend
When I was lonely grieving
When I was in the dirt
