I saw you again
And for a moment your eyes met mine
But then you turned away
And my heart went back in time

I wanted to tell you
The good things that you are
But my infinite lack of wisdom
Went and broke your heart

You were so right
A precious jewel I had found
But I opened my mouth
And now I won’t see you around
