Well, two boxes are (according to the package slip left on my door) waiting in my apartment complex's rental office for me that I expect are the shiny, brand new computer that my computer manufacturer promised me after nearly two months of service calls that failed to fix my old one in truly epic fashion.  IF that's my computer and IF it works, there's half a chance I may get Episode 12 of Shoumyou done...

Couldn't finish it on the laptop, you see, because before I managed to get it quite done the laptop started blue-screening.  I'm working on fixing the problem (botched a driver update roll, I believe), but my new computer is going to be here before that one gets fixed, I'm sure... and it will probably get fixed by getting ressurrected with Ubuntu since the warranty's expired on that OS anyway.

So I'm knocking on wood and hoping that new computer works.  Oh boy will there be fun phone calls if it doesn't.

In other news, I've started a livejournal and am using it as a fanfic distro point. (psiten.livejournal.com)   Finished and refined versions may be available on the Impetuosity website eventually, depending on the amount of work I have time to do.  I'm also looking into options for getting our own domain, more space for hosting, and an update format that cuts down on the amount of time I need to spend coding because I really really don't have time as I'm sure you can tell.

I noticed that many of the links had probably expired on MegaUpload... I've renewed them, so they should be working again.  Among other changes, I'll be starting a MediaFire account so that smaller things can be hosted there without expiring.  As for episodes, without cutting them up into pieces that are less than 100MB it's still MegaUpload, direct hosting, or BitTorrent.  And I don't think I can support a BitTorrent transfer currently.  I'll make a decision during the move process.  I may be able to host a select number of episodes directly if I can get more storage space on a new domain.  Splitting the files is also, of course, an option, though I'd rather have them complete.

Moving again at the end of May, which at least should cut my daily commute/working hours from 14 to about 11 max... I can't begin to express how much I'm looking forward to that.

In great hope and anticipation, your humble proprietor,

Skinner
