It seems to have been precisely a month since the last time I was able to make an update on the show.  But, the convention is over (I'll post my con report and links to pictures soon) and I can finally settle down to my normal busy schedule.  I have about 7-12 lines left to translate on episode 11 of Shounen Onmyouji... the only reason that I'm turning in is that Kyuuki's talking so I know perfectly well I won't be able to understand him at this hour.  And since they actually have work for me at work now, I can't subtitle during the day.



But I am going to finish the series.



It's my personal opinion that the show is a bit subtitle-cursed... I mean, honestly.  No one's finished it yet?  I know I'm not the only one working on it, or at least I wasn't.   And now Geneon's has something going on with it's entire Western release branch.  I heard they're pulling out of the game entirely.  I expect they'll finish they're current releases, or at least I hope they do.  But they've already pushed back the release date of disc three of Shounen Onmyouji... It's now late November as opposed to,  oh, now.  Which is good for me, since I'm trying to stay ahead of the American release.  I actually haven't opened my second disc.  It's still shrink-wrapped.  Nor have I double checked to see if my first disc is actually damaged or if it was just the player I tried it on, but I'm really only buying them on principle.  After I've finished the series, I may watch the commercial subs to see what we agreed on, but what I'd really want to check myself against was a kanji script.  But alas, no world is perfect.



So.  Episode 11 as soon as possible, and the rest as soon as I can.  Dekiru hodo yarimasu.
