Internet Status part II
Updated news is that the telephone company says my internet line should be activated on the 22nd of this month.  I've made steps to acquire the phone jack splitter that I'll need to hook up the modem, so hopefully the setup process won't take more than a couple days.  This process has been so fraught with delay that I won't assume I'll have the internet up and running the very day it's supposed to be connected, but it should be soon.

In anticipation of that, I've started buckling down again on my translations.  I'm about 4/5 of the way through episode 3, having gotten through the scene that was making me tear my hair out before I had to get ready to move.  The rest involves less talking and more fighting, so it should be done by the time my internet is connected.  I'm fairly certain that I can stay ahead of the Geneon releases.

Speaking of which, I've put in my preorder for the special edition of the first official American DVD.  I can't wait to see how it turns out, though the editor's description on Amazon.com made me shiver a bit in fear.

More news as it shows up.

Also, a friend reminded me today, the tenth anniversary of Ootori Akio's first appearance on television was two weeks from yesterday.  December 24th of this year should be the tenth anniversary of the end of the Utena television series.  Man, that was a good show.
