What's being subbed or edited, and how far it's gone
Long Time, No See
Right.
So, the end of the over-busy holiday season lands me in the middle of two projects with ridiculous deadlines along with my continuing search for employment that befits my education. Both of the extra projects were subtitling projects, and neither of them can be distributed. The Revolutionary Girl Utena re-encode I was organizing wasn't actually my translation, and the other project I can't even talk about yet... but I was putting the finishing touches on that and saying, "Finally! I can get back to Shounen Onmyouji...!" Only to find that Geneon got the license. Don't get me wrong. I'm happy it's coming out in the states. July 10th is going to be a tough deadline for finishing the series, and I'm going to have to find somewhere other than Anime Suki for the torrents. As I've said before, I rank fansubs on a similar level to television. I'm going to buy the official release, and I would ask everyone who downloads the series regularly to do the same. If and only if I get a cease and desist will I stop trying to release. I'll probably end up distributing on BoxTorrents or IsoHunt, but we'll see. Long story short, I haven't actually abandoned the series, and I'm thoroughly ashamed that I've been gone this long with my crappy second episode as the last thing I've done.
See you around.

Skinner
